I think all other users agree with me, the percentage of drope of the keys skeleton is outrageously low, I've done about 40 runs, heroic or normal, including 5 Nightfalls, and have only scored 5 skeleton keys (not accumulated) I understand the idea that rare, but not exaggerate!

Do 320 strikes. Way higher drop rates, I got one first try, I've seen someone get two from one strike

Edited by TRDoug: 10/22/2016 11:56:08 AMIt's pretty much exactly the same as the drop rate of strike exclusive loot as before...only now you the to get lucky TWICE in a strike. Once for the key and once for the loot from the chest. I have no idea why anyone was so excited for these. Bungie has added another layer of grind to the game because now you have to get lucky with a key and then you're still at the mercy of RNG when you open the chest. All they had to do is increase the drop rates of exclusive loot and/or let them drop from every strike. Have the loot be playlist specific not just glued to one strike. I've saved my keys for strikes that drop the devils dawn, have opened six chests and have gotten nothing but class items lower than the items I was currently wearing.

Edited by Ignatius_Gnome: 10/23/2016 8:57:59 AMOver 30 Heroic Siva Crisis Strikes and the only Key to drop was in a normal Siva strike. And I don't recall seeing them drop for anyone. I understand the concept of rare but there is more chance of finding a tooth in a chicken. What a load of Guardian crap. More chance of good stuff in Varricks packs for CoE

While I agree they are rare, they drop 400 light lvl gear for slots you choose. On top of that they also give you a chance for some of the best guns in the game. I run strikes a lot and I think I get one every 6-7 heroic strikes. So what are you proposing the drop rate become? I think that we should just get a guaranteed key drop from our first nightfall each week or something like that.
-
Hell I've done about the same and I've gotten 3.
-
Dont agree at all. Fine as is. Dont need all the loot in 2 weeks
-
That seems fair to me. 10% drop rate, and then you get the pick the strike you spend it on.
-
That's high enough
