All these comments of people doubting Nintendo are just sad. It's like you people have no faith anymore, just chill Nintendo knows what they're doing and they handle the pressure to make a new console amazingly.
I HIGHLY doubt they'd show a game in the trailer then go "whoops sorry folks, you can't actually play that game, we just wanted you to buy our product!" Imagine how many people would be pissed off at them, lots of customers gone.
People have every right to have no faith in Nintendo. They barely put out any games for their last console and already trying to drown it out with their new one. Had I bought the Wii U I'd be pretty damn pissed and I wouldn't bother buying another Nintendo console.
-
The issue is that that is a real possibility.
-
I don't think it is

In case you didn't know, Nintendo has treated third party devs like shit compared to first party for the last years. Now that their exclsuives aren't bringing in the amount of money that they need, they are looking into actually accepting third party devs. On top of that, all of these third party devs have every reason to stay on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation and leave this thing alone.
-
They've been treating third parties like shit since the beginning of the company lol
-
I wasn't sure so I just said past years. It was a dick thing to do and now it is biting them in the ass.
-
Yeah it really is and they refuse to become 3rd party Dev for that same reason I'm sure.

Edited by Psychic Donuts: 10/23/2016 12:24:10 AMIf they licensed out their first party games, they would make so much money. Since they obviously aren't willing to do that, I think they should make the best console for their first party games because that is why people buy Nintendo's consoles.

I've been saying this since the Wii came out
-
They didn't need it then. Hell, Nintendo is still riding on the money that the Wii made them and they wasted a lot of it with the Wii U.
-
I know the Wii was a commercial success but I wasn't a fan of the console I thought it was what everyone is saying the switch will be "gimmicky"
-
The Wii made its money off of its gimmick, but as all gimmicks go, it got old.
