I didn't think i would say this.. But Thorn seriously needs a big buff..
I know, Thorn was needing a nerf, From it's two shot headshot days, But Bungle. You've hit it too hard. You know you hit something too hard when it was a gun that was the definition of OP and people are asking for it to be good.. Give us back something that would be a Thorn... In someone's side UNLESS they use the artifact to buff resistance to the effect. I've already started to dislike the Thorn's performance, Even though I'm damn good in Crucible. The quest wasn't worth it. Make it worth it. Thorn is barely being used anymore, and you said yourself, (Entirety of Bungle) That you wanted us to use what we want. I want to use Thorn, But I'm at a huge disadvantage using it! It's bad when Hawkmoon still cross maps you, And the ghost bullets on Thorn, Just don't even hit. It's ridiculous.
My opinion on Thorn's performance?
Here's the best I can explain this.
Exile's student, With the max recoil, But ghost bullets of max stability.

Okay, before I get into, I do think Thorn needs a small buff. My preference is to make the burn 4 damage a tick instead of 2 (unless players are using the artifact, in which case it'd still do 1 dmg/tick). That being said... Just want to rave for a bit. I haven't had Thorn before. Joined in December of last year, so I missed out on Y1 Thorn. And yet, I [i]freaking love Thorn[/i]. I don't know what it is -- I think my aim is always just slightly off, and it counteracts ghost bullets or something -- but every shot feels crisp and puts a smile on my face. I 3-shot people for [i]days[/i]. I've [u]never[/u] used a handcannon that felt so good, and I've tried every exotic one, a couple Esalunas, a god-rolled Imago Loop, and everything in between. This gun is an absolute [i]joy[/i] to use. It, NLB, and The Clever Dragon are honestly my three favorite primary weapons in the game right now. I'm always baffled when people say Thorn is "unusable," because my experience couldn't be more distant. Even at ranges I wouldn't even dare using a different handcannon in -- [i][b]Pow[/b][/i], headshot. I mean, I hit people at ranges where the bullet itself doesn't even do damage, all I see is the burn. But it still hits, and they know it. ...Okay, rant over. Thorn's fun.
