https://youtu.be/f5uik5fgIaI So as most of you know, Nintendo released a trailer for their new console, and it looks very interesting. I personally am excited and if it holds up to the way it looks, I think I'll be happy with it. The main thing I want to know about is the games, and what it means for the future. Will we see what the Wii U did and reboot some old games, but perhaps with console versions of our favorite DS games? Since this will probably retire the 3DS as well, I think those games, with the likes of Pokémon, will finally be getting core titles on a console since they still can be played on mobile. An executive at game freak even said that they were excited to make games for the NX, which was the codename for the switch. Please share your wishlist, whether it's the price range, features, battery, or games, but I'll provide my top 5 for games I want to see on this console, even if they are unrealistic. [u]5-A Good Metroid[/u] It's been awhile since a really good metroid game, and the devs are more than capable. All that's needed to be said. [u]4-An awesome Kirby game[/u] Kirby is one of my favorite series from Nintendo and they've never really failed to make good Kirby games. I really want a new one to be an amazing experience like so many others have been. Maybe another dreamland or super star game. [u]3-Super Mario Sunshine remake, or another super Mario that can match up to this[/u] Okay, this is more of a dream, but Super Mario Sunshine is an amazing game it's surprising that they gave Galaxy a sequel but they never gave this one, which is long due, a remake or sequel. It's an amazing game and I really want my water jet pack back in 4K. [u]2-Super Smash Bros 5[/u] With the third party devs on board and more hype from the west for their new console(it's been a couple hours and already I think this is more anticipated than the Wii U ever was), they can probably add more third party characters this time around and make a really awesome Smash Bros again. It was that long ago since we got one, so I think we'll get one later on. Before number one, the runner up which would be the real number two spot will follow. Runner Up: [u]Core Pokémon series game that is a full AAA open world console experience [/u] So when I was younger I played Pokémon on handheld, and later on I discovered Pokémon Coliseum. This game is awesome. They haven't done an open world Pokémon game in a real way since then, and even then that was scratching the surface. Game freak didn't make that game, and with the switch as a revolution for Nintendo, this could be a revolution for Pokémon. Pokémon has had the same battling mechanic without any real change for 20 years, with only a few additions of moves, few type additions, and new Pokémon. In an open world rpg, they could change how you fight, the size, the way it looked, the story, make it a true Pokémon game that would turn a new lead for a series that could be bigger than it is with so much nostalgia for fans of the series. I really, really want this to happen. But the number 1 would be an absolute miracle. And my most anticipated game that they'll probably never do would have to absolutely be... [spoiler][b]Kirby Air Ride[/b][/spoiler] This is my favorite game of all time(well, I'm not really sure about that but it's up there) and it's because this was just the ultimate racing game. The city mode was awesome, the races were fun and the machines were cool. The maps were well done, and considering that all happened on the GameCube, can you imagine what it would be like now?
