The Executor's Champion exotic class armor quest is still broken. Bungie please fix
So, I have 8 of the 9 exotic class items so far. Just got the final quest on my hunter with New Monarchy. I have equipped the following: Cleopatra AK armor shader, Crown of the New Monarchy emblem, and the High Command Cloak. I have won crucible matches, done heroic strikes, etc. and no progress is tracking. I have tried a hard reset on my console, I logged out and logged back in. I tried different New Monarchy emblems and shaders. Any news, tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I hope it isn't the High Command Cloak because that is the only cloak being sold at this point. Sadly I deleted all the rest of my New Monarchy cloaks.

I think it's the High Command Cloak. I'm using a non-Chroma Cloak, Rise of Iron Cloak of Repair, for the quest.

This is so disappointing. Seems this happens every six months with New Monarchy, or basically every time they release something. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/201662658 https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/171442985 And I see from your update (Thanks!) that I get to overlevel this faction and pray to RNGesus that I get a bond I can actually use. Such a silly bug, and seems easy to fix.

Update: This morning I ran to Xur and bought enough heavy synths to rank up New Monarchy. I chose the chroma package an got TWO cloaks! Yeah! I put on the Spektar Kallipolis cloak and it worked! The other cloak I got from the package was a Rise of Iron cloak called Cloak of the Rising. That cloak works too! So, it was definitely the High Command Cloak. Thank you all for helping me! All progress is tracking!

I believe if I am not mistaken there was a blurb about it in one of the recent weekly updates. Something along the lines of you need to put on a Chroma cloak/bond/buttwipe. Be advised that I may be VERY mistaken.
