bungie has stated they will have the characters stats offline for while. expect them to be up and running soon.

"While" and "Soon" are pretty convoluted answers to something that was supposed to be back up after the weekend. Why does transparency continue to be such an issue? "We are having internal issues with how stats are recorded and stored on our database. We are working to resolve the issue and do not have an estimated fix date at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience." It's not that -blam!-ing hard, took all of 20 seconds to type and satisfies probably 90% of the angry backlash received from players.

"temporarily offline this weekend" Those were their exact words & it took them 24 hours just to tell us that. Now that was 4 days ago. Seeing as they've been offline for 5 days as of 2:30 it seems both "this weekend" & "temporarily" no longer fit the situation. There hasn't even been a statement on their part that I've seen since that post.

Wrong. They said it would be temporarily down for the weekend. Monday and Tuesday is not the weekend. And why not post it on their own forums. Seems pretty stupid to me.
