Everything seems...
Everything seems to be broken or just not working as it should. The companion app is having issues left and right, along with the website. In-game glitches still have yet to be fixed and kiosk items are not saving properly. I think Destiny is in a state of glitches and bugs that has not been seen for a while. Content is also slim seeing as the story was short and their are only about 5 additional quests after the story. WOTM seems fun but that's endgame content and should not be the bulk of an expansion.
The Dark Below failed due to most of the content being just a raid. Now we are in a similar state seeing how the only bridge between story and endgame is archons forge, and the only way to get a team is to do a glitch. With a short story and limited easily accessible content the game feels limp. Following the game feeling limp we have glitches and bugs that make the game hard to deal with, and the glitches affect the companion app and website.
Bungie needs to put forth some effort into fixing what's broken and not leave us with a glitch riddled game for a year. I really hope Destiny 2 has more supervision and dedication behind its maintenance. If you agree like and bump so we can get our collective voices heard.
Edit- I'm noticing a trend with some of these replies. So I'll clarify, I'm not complaining about the amount of content but rather the quality of RELEVANT content. We could have more missions than their are stars in the sky but that still makes them irrelevant. Content is not the only issue I bring up I also bring up the glitches and bugs that have yet to be fixed. So in broad terms, no I won't buy a new game to compensate for the lack of a current one and yes I was playing in vanilla so don't pull a time card.

2 RepliesIt's going to be a loooong year until D2 unless the team puts out worthwhile content every now and then. Add some quests that'll attract players and not quests that are just "kill this guy". I'm hoping it's not another content drought.

But bungie has had broken guns, armors, items for its entirety. 3 years later and still broken stuff like Frost-EE3's. There are enough games that came out that DON'T have broken items, weapons, and armor to know that Bungie is bad at what they do. For how big they are, they're bad. When Ubisoft made that broken assassin's creed game it drew the ire of the people. It was terribly made. So Bungie gets no pass. Bad is bad. People call out other companies that do it. Bungie isn't exempt.

Number 2- if you played this game ttk or after then you know that people have been very upset with how little end game content there was. Now you complain there is too much end game content? Lol Number 3- when destiny first came out, there we're only 19 missions total to choose from. That was the entire game, 19 missions. So before you complain about how bad of a job bungie did with their 'glitchy' game, you should ask yourself why you keep putting the disc into your console.

The companion app and website have been working fine for me the last two weeks. No issues in game aside for some unusual lag during PvE activities. Which were never present before. They have as others have said have a mic smaller the working on things. So it will take time to fix some things.

There are a *ton* of known issues right now, but very little has been fixed up to this point. I was hoping next week's update would address some of them, but there's nothing in this week's news release to make me think that's going to happen. It sure does seem like most of the development team is working on something else, because there's very little perceptible progress after weeks of gameplay. Here's hoping that they squash some of the bugs soon...

Most of the bungie team don't really care about were we are @ now. They are making d2. The game is in poor shape @ the minute. Crucible is a shit show and that's being kind. No pve content other that the ball throwing raid which is just not for everybody due to not having a fireteam. Gun balancing and performance is piss poor atm. The lag is deadly aswell

I can handle the buggy app (which they seem to have improved) and other random glitches but what's really broken are the 3 of Coins. Those f-ckers just don't work for me. So many players say they get to max level just using those, it's hard to believe.

RoI was made to tie us over until Destiny 2. Considering D2 was delayed, I doubt they had initially planned to have RoI ready right away. Meaning odds are it was rushed. It's a great dlc and the glitches aren't really major, but I can see what you mean. Also since RoI was created by a small team (since most are focusing on Destiny 2) it's pretty fine.

The app loads like molasses runs in a blast freezer. Crucible is like playing with a running strobe light in your face. Forge is bugged.... I could go on and on...
