Where else would anyone in their right mind use ToM than in the raid....

It's been nerfed too. Bubble no longer protects you from my understanding.
-
That's my point, since the nerf it is utterly useless outside of the raid where you get the invulnerability buff.
-
Ohh yea I forgot the sisters give you that. I was thinking ogres during the oryx fight. Pointless there.
-
There are always those people....
-
Who? I've yet to see them. ToM is absolutely useless outside of the raid....that's why OP hasn't seen anyone using it...
-
I was saying back when Kings Fall first came out, two weeks after the raid very VERY few people had it. I had mine and everyone was like omg how'd you get it, the raid exotic was revered. Two weeks after WOTM, everyone and their mother has OBP. I was simply pointing out how it seems that everyone got OBP while people struggled to get ToM. ~ Nyahh! =^,.,^=

I get you, didn't read OP's whole post. But you are 100% right on this. People used ToM in king's fall and only there. A lot of people never even infused it past 310.
-
I mean, people used to use it outside of the raid...but not since the nerf.
-
Blessings made it viable as a tactic outside the raid yeah. Funny how Bungie got rid of that.
-
It actually makes perfect sense. ToM with Blessings and Weapons absolutely destroyed bosses both in raids and in strikes. It was nerfed to prevent people from doing just that to Aksis and/or Vosiks. Would have been easy mode seeing how those two encounters work. Long periods of the boss being stunned while a team can fire at him with everything they have?? Boom, ToM would have wrecked him in 2 phases probably.
-
Thinking of it yeah, ToM would do disproportionate damage.
