Why use Outbreak Prime in PvP?
As someone who doesn't have this gun yet, I'm curious as to why anyone wants to use it in PvP.
As far as it goes, the stat roles on the gun can be out gunned by almost any other primary with decent rolls- at least from what I see in video's and my own experiences in PvP going against someone using a Prime.
So what benefit of the Prime is there? The Nanits? Those things tickle, I have never died from those things- it's just an annoyance.
The kick and stability? Sure from video's I've seen of it's gameplay it looks fine- or is it the range? Even then my Hopscotch is superior to Prime in those reguards and still wins that gun fight.
So why use it? For bragging rights that you have it? Light level? Or is the gun that fun to use and I'm missing out?

As of today, it's my highest level gun for Iron Banner and I want higher level drops. For most days, I'll use it for fun.

3 RepliesHopscotch is so bad. Even with a god roll. In fact it shouldn't even be called hopscotch. Original hopscotch hit for 36 per bullet and with braved frame had MAX stability. It would reliably 2 butst guardians. Even with max armour. It had a low fire rate but that was okay since you needed to pull the trigger only twice. What we have now is a gun that does 30 to the head (now needs 3 bursts to kill) same slow fire rate. And doesn't have max stability anymore. It will get outgunned by every other pulse. Even a hand cannon is a better choice.

If it's IB then its scrubs using it because it's 390.

6 RepliesIts grasp of mallok archetype, one of the strongest pulse rifles that are super competitive in PvP right now. Also the nanite swarms keep the opponents health low due to continuous damage. Also it drops at 390. With the LL advantages enabled in IB it will no undoubtedly be players highest LL weapons, and would be enough to take the overall LL up by 3 of 4 levels.

Gotta be the light level for most players as IB is light enabled. But it is fun to use.

Mostly the light level for iron banner. On Tuesday, I'll switch to either my lord high fixer or the clever dragon.

390 and its just like a hawksaw with a bit of wolfpack rounds.

It's GOOD and has great LL so when you get loot it's going to be high level gear.
