Hunters are the lore b1+€#es. We are always, always, killed. Jaren Ward, Pahanin Errata, Dredgen Yor, even the HUNTER -blam!-ING VANGUARD Andal Brask! If there's a Hunter going anywhere, we die. Titans (and less so Warlocks) get the Golden treatment, they either go down killing everything (Kabr, Jolder, Saint-14), or they help other guardians to fight a larger threat (Praedyth, Toland).

Edited by GTLargo21: 10/9/2016 1:56:02 AMThat's because we hunters go alone. We take the tasks others don't want. We go against the odds for the glory. We accept that challenge from the warlock/titan drunk on their one success or fabricated deed. (i.e. the hunter that tracked down and killed an Ahamkara based on the challenge/lie presented by a warlock) We have guts. We have attitude... but what we do, we mostly do for the welfare of everyone or the better good. -A Maverick Gunslinger-

That's true but hunters normally die after something pretty epic

I gotta disagree. For one example, although Y1 players may disagree with me, Thorn doesn't strike me as that big a deal. Thorn really only killed Hunters. That being said, it killed 2 Hunters. Jared Ward and Pahanin. Aside from becoming the PvP god weapon in Y1, it didn't do anything in the lore that we know of besides those two deaths.

Wrong. There was a great titan who was undefeated in the crucible. I forgot his name, but he even has a mark that the Speaker offers from time to time. Dredgen Yor ended him. Permanently. And knowing how Yor operates, he let this titan build up his fame. He could have killed him at any time. Yor wanted to kill him at his peak, in fame and followers. Because nothing dies like hope.

You mean Thalor? Yeah, forgot about him.

That's his name. Thanks.
