How well does Unbent Tree work with Focused Fire?
I just picked up an Unbent Tree with Send It, Snapshot/Feather Mag and Hidden Hand/Focused Fire. I'm considering running it as the bullet hose SMG that it is with Feather Mag but I'm curious if any Guardian has used this gun with Focused Fire and what their thoughts are. I've used high and medium rate of fire Focused Fire auto rifles but this is the very first high rate of fire Focused Fire auto I believe I have seen.

I bought the vendor roll and I love it, perfect balance keeps it steady, very little pressure on the right stick to keep on target, it tracks like crazy anyway, with Hidden Hand it's like a magnet. Probably my favorite gun currently. That and the vendor Continental are making me happy.

I have one we did the math between it and a normal one the focused fire seems to increase the range in pvp. You get 19 a headshot at 30 feet then it drops off. The regular without focused drops off at 17 feet.

1 ReplyEdited by Swiftlock: 10/9/2016 4:23:35 AMFocused Fire actually lowers an auto rifle's DPS and instead increases the total damage it can do over long periods of time. It's great in PvE, but it's a blatant disadvantage in PvP. I'd rather have a crazy-fast bullet hose that can put more lead into my opponent's face at a more rapid rate than a slightly slower bullet hose that will be more punishing if you miss.

Focus fire is great for PvE. If you use it, you never run out of ammo. I don't find it to be bad in PvP, but tend to switch to counterbalance when I am trying hard. Use what you like, these are my opinions.

I tried it and thought it might be good but it's not. Like all ARs, if you're facing an opponent with a top tier weapon who can shoot, you're in trouble.

8 RepliesHere's advice, anything above the lowest rate of fire anything is terrible with focused fire. Everything.

I'm not a high light level, but a team with Unbent Tree is virtually unstoppable.
