I don't tihink that, at all. Auto Rifles are big, submachine guns are a little bit bigger then sidearms. I mean: You hold submachine guns the same way as hand cannons. Auto rifles the same as scout rifles. So it would be a big difference.

Sub machine guns are small but not hand cannon small. An smg is a two handed weapon that boasts a high rate of fire and mobility at the expense of range and stability the rounds are small and designed to shred through unarmored targets but they are certainly not one handed if you were to do so you would be incapable of managing the rate of fire and recoil and may as well be using a sidearm that can be used in one hand without worrying about sacrificing any significant accuracy

I meant the way the autorifles work. They resemble assault rifles but the range on them is too low for them to be compared to ARs.
