Does Bungie have to confirm everything for some of you people? That's like saying Killionaire isn't confirmed yet it is there on the Service records just like the spiker. It even says Reach Stats right next to it. I mean damn it's like Bungie is your guys' mom. It's not okay unless she says so. For the past 2 or so years I've played Halo 3 and ODST, barely anyone even picked up or even acknowledged the spiker's presence, let alone kill with it. Plus I have used a spiker a few times. They're -blam!- weak guns compared to the other ones.

Is there a statement by bungie or something? Plus, it seems a little contradictory to me that they would do so much work to ensure continuity in other aspects such as weapons etc. and then throw in the brutes before their original debut. Then again we had never seen the skirmishers before Reach, but I'm still hoping they aren't in. [/quote] They where shown in a Vidoc and Bungie has mentioned twice they have recorded the lines for brutes. Also the Brutes have been in the covenant since before the Human-Covenant war.
