There is literally no excuse for it not too. They have milked more than enough money for it to be worth it.

Destiny does have dedicated servers. Dedicated to being bad am I right?
I'll go now
-
With Activi$ion contributing to development, most likely not
-
Look at how bungie handled the last three years do you people really think they are going to improve on anything? No everyone will still pay so they will continue to cut corners. Thats how business works. Stop paying and they will make a better product.
-
Won't happen. Activision won't pay to them.
-
I agree. and to help with the toxic nature of it all, PRIVATE STATS.
-
Destiny 2 better not have shotguns.
-
This iron cheat-a-thon has me convinced that if Destiny 2 isn't going to have dedicated servers, I'm out... No excuses.
-
It won't have dedicated servers because having peer connections saves money for Activision. They don't care about the quality - only that the product sells, which is their business' goal.
-
That when I said "I hope destiny 2 has no pvp because then they can make pve 10 time better. "
-
Are they gonna do it? No. Could they at least make a way for people to create/rent servers like in the battlefield series? Yes, will they? No. Why? Activision holds final say over such a major hardware and/or software creation and release, and it is soooo much cheaper for them to force p2p on destiny. Until activision wants destiny to be part of the competitive scene like call of duty there will never be a reason for them to have dedicated servers.
-
So if they don't your not gonna buy it? Ok bye then.
-
Has there been any game where the developers have realistically implemented dedicated servers? Any games I follow and play...nothing.
-
I think you mean regional servers that are ping locked

Edited by A KOOL POP TART: 10/6/2016 4:39:00 PMWhat are dedicated servers btw.
-
Milked money lmao stop it
-
What do you believe dedicated servers actually do?
-
Destiny 2 better be marketed as primarily a PvP matchmaking shooter. It would yield much less disillusionment from those of us realizing the FPS genre can offer an adequate experience beyond the yet another PvP shooter mold.
-
If activi$ion won't spring for dedicated severs for COD, a multi million dollar franchise.. It sure won't have them for destiny 2, a franchise that loses players with every expansion..
-
Edited by TrooperHR: 10/8/2016 2:21:43 AM> There is literally no excuse for it not too. No. Of course there are excuses. "Poor bungie is spending their money on making Destiny 3 great, and I am happy for that let Destiny 2 suck!!!". See.
-
Nope they r too cheap for that
-
No. no. No. FIRST and foremost 60 FPS. Everything else is irrelevant. Side note, nobody cares about private matches.
-
Good joke
-
I'm fine with the current state of the servers. I don't encounter any where near as many red bars as this community says their are. :p
-
Or what?
-
Activision isn't going to shell out that cash... and neither will Bungie.
