For a raid weapon that does a little less than expected, you could at least think this would have been easier. The one thing that holds you back from doing this quest is having the proper fireteam, which messes things up.
You can have a ton of friends who get the engine and all that, but when they finish the engine there's nothing you can do but wait...... it begins with the fact that you need a fireteam, with all 3 classes, meaning you can't do it with 3 of the same class. When you are finally done with that, you have to go sync it and when you have no one to do it with, you're stuck right then and there. You need a Warlock, Titan, and Hunter (or just the other 2 since you'll have yourself included) and you have to do the engine together. You begin by typing in your part of it, but if you don't have your fireteam at that point, you're stuck until you DO get a fireteam that not only has the engine, but has different classes. Those are hard by themselves. When you finally get through it you continue going on about it and doing the exact same thing, only to realize that if your team finishes without you, you can't complete the quest. It's less than likely anyone else will be able to get to your part, and when they do, they'll have to go through it too.
I'll say it again, but differently - One of the things that ruins this quest is the fact that you need a fireteam. You can't get the weapon (which by the way, does less than expected) if your fireteam leaves you. And really, it's not like its flawless raider.
Note: If you have the weapon and think I'm butthurt, think again, as this quest is still hard to complete in every way and something has to be done about that. It should be like the sleeper, finding codes and all that. It should be able to be done by yourself. It should be able to have all that, because the weapon actually looks similar to the sleeper simulant. Not everyone is available at a time and not everyone will be able to complete the quest if this is the case.
Please, change this.

Nearly half this community can use lfg and/or can't count to five it would seem....
-
Took 2 hours once you beat the raid. Thats not too hard at all. Wow
-
It's fine, people need to get over it. It's not even difficult
-
I've finished it on my warlock but I'll run it again on warlock if anyone needs help. PSN.
-
I actually really liked this quest so far. Running the raid again tonight to get the parts and so far I would say is been one of the more enjoyable quests to go through.
-
Just a heads up. You can rebuy the engine. Meaning you can do it again even if you've already done it. So people can help you out with it,

Edited by XMalakhX: 9/30/2016 4:22:28 PMI was able to do it twice now. So I think it's ok. A bit tedious but fine. It's on the very edge of tolerable though getting one of each class multiple times. Any more than this for a quest and it'd be bullshit.
-
Why not go into recruiting and look for a group to do the rest of the quest with? "Oh its so hard finding 2 of the opposite classes with the quest" then make a LFG post god damnit and stop bitching. I haven't even done the raid yet but god damn.

The Raid requires teamwork to complete. Unlocking the Secret to the 5th monitor took literally thousands of players coming together to crack the decryption. This Exotic Raid Weapon, more so than any before it, has every right to require a fireteam to complete. Odds are, you're not the only one doing it. Find yourself some other Questers and help each other, maybe? -MAD X H0USE

yeah.. no. there is nothing unreasonable about this weapon quest.
-
Its a quest for a 390 exotic pulse rifle that not only has wolfpack firefly but a wolfpack dot effect as well. The guns abilities fit the questline.
-
Only thing I'm not a fan of is that it requires multiple people for those small parts.
-
No it's perfect the way it is. I loved the codes and puzzles in it. We need more quests like these. Definitely the best quest in the game so far.
-
Need a Titan and warlock for step 6
-
Yeah the fireteam requirement was a hassle. I spent more time trying to find two people on the other classes than i did playing the game.
-
It's difficult but rewarding. They just have to fix the monitor glitch that's all.
-
It's only too much because the gun isn't that good.
-
For gods sake people. Sleeper Simulant comes out, and everyone complains how easy the quest is. There's no challenge, there's no puzzle, etc. Outbreak Prime comes out, and suddenly everyone complains that it's too hard, it's too much effort, etc. What do you want!?
-
It's so hard to get this quest.....
-
The hardest part of Outbreak Prime's quest is getting the Quest in the first place. Aksis is still a challenge for my Raid group, but that's really the only difficult thing to do. I mean, I know Binary and I'm really -blam!-ing good at math so it'll probably be easier for me than most people, but a lot of people already have it so it can't be that hard.
-
I've said it before and I'll say it again: anyone can level up their light and anyone can use destinylfg.com or destinylfg.net to find people to play with. This isn't a freebie exotic so do the work or stfu - end of story.
-
BUMP, whats left of my fire team wont even do the raid so im screwed. Cant imagine trying to do all this with randoms. This is nearly a brick wall for players like myself. Cool idea, bungie, and i love the dlc, but what about us?
-
It looks pretty good to me. I'm considering switching to a Warlock main just to do it with my Titan and Hunter friends
-
this is an MMO game, multiplayer is literally within the name of the genre... Of course nearly everything is going to be where you have to have more then yourself. What did you expect? The quest chain doesnt' even take more then a day to beat anyways
-
Maybe if you used the effort you put into complaining about it you would have the gun by now?
