For a raid weapon that does a little less than expected, you could at least think this would have been easier. The one thing that holds you back from doing this quest is having the proper fireteam, which messes things up.
You can have a ton of friends who get the engine and all that, but when they finish the engine there's nothing you can do but wait...... it begins with the fact that you need a fireteam, with all 3 classes, meaning you can't do it with 3 of the same class. When you are finally done with that, you have to go sync it and when you have no one to do it with, you're stuck right then and there. You need a Warlock, Titan, and Hunter (or just the other 2 since you'll have yourself included) and you have to do the engine together. You begin by typing in your part of it, but if you don't have your fireteam at that point, you're stuck until you DO get a fireteam that not only has the engine, but has different classes. Those are hard by themselves. When you finally get through it you continue going on about it and doing the exact same thing, only to realize that if your team finishes without you, you can't complete the quest. It's less than likely anyone else will be able to get to your part, and when they do, they'll have to go through it too.
I'll say it again, but differently - One of the things that ruins this quest is the fact that you need a fireteam. You can't get the weapon (which by the way, does less than expected) if your fireteam leaves you. And really, it's not like its flawless raider.
Note: If you have the weapon and think I'm butthurt, think again, as this quest is still hard to complete in every way and something has to be done about that. It should be like the sleeper, finding codes and all that. It should be able to be done by yourself. It should be able to have all that, because the weapon actually looks similar to the sleeper simulant. Not everyone is available at a time and not everyone will be able to complete the quest if this is the case.
Please, change this.

I'm just far too lazy to grind any crazy light requirements to raid. I'll just play Strikes and Crucible til my light is aight.
-
Please don't change it. It was a great quest.
-
You want to walk me and my Titan buddy through the raid / monitors; we'll be with you until the end, lol.
-
Seems fine to me although I haven;t done it but I am thinking it is not too terribly hard as I have seen loads with that gun today in the tower and in PVP.
-
Lmao first you all bitch that exotic quests should be harder, now you all bitch that there too hard. You dumbasses will never be pleased
-
Yep this quest is a GG for me. I was on part 6 with these guys then they dipped so now im stuck and been trying to look for ppl for a day now. GG

Get a fireteam, be a man. I've got some severe social issues going on, but I managed to LFG the whole thing in about 6 hours yesterday. Sure, some people left me but I soldiered on because I wanted the weapon. If you want something bad enough, get up and do something about it. It isn't going to come to you.
-
I feel the same mate , I didn't realize everyone else in the fire team had to have the quest too, that's bs , I'm at stage 2 it's going to take me ages to get it done.
-
that moment when your fireteam doesn't have to have the engine....
i did nightfall with two buddies who neither had engine and my process continued
-
I have not started it and i am really looking forward to attempting it Fingers crossed
-
The only issues I came across were needed classes, like Titans and Warlocks, were leaving so we had to wait to get others to continue. The quest itself is long but not really that hard. While I do agree that I feel like the weapon itself could use a little push in a stronger direction it still was worth every second I did to get it.
-
If you've completed it, you're able to buy replica engines at each stage to help a friend who hasn't had it with the quest.
-
It's not that hard honestly. My hunter is only 367 but I started it today and I'm on the step where you have to go kill the raid bosses to get the siva grids. It doesn't take that long.
-
Oh no, I have to actually work for an exotic, for shame Bungie! The horror of it all!
-
It's only difficult for those who lack comprehension, communication, and socials skills.

Edited by RhymesWithMoose: 9/30/2016 9:25:12 PMSo... What if I think it's just fine if not everyone is able to do it?
-
The part about having to have one of each class is obnoxious, but I understand why they did it. I already got 2 so I could use 1 to infuse my chaos dogma. Absolutely worth the effort, even if it takes hunters forever to find a team. I actually struggled so hard I switched to my warlock, then went back and got it again with my hunter later
-
Not everyone is suppose to get it.
-
I think it's fine EXCEPT the needing 1 class of each in your party to do the last 3 puzzles... We should have been able to solve those puzzles ourselves and continue the mission.
-
>"Sleeper quest was too easy!" >Bungie makes OP quest actually difficult >"OP quest is way too hard!" Shhhhhhut the -blam!- up. If it wasn't hard you'd complain. If you don't want to put in the work, you don't get the gun. Simple.
-
People complained about exotic quests being too easy in TTK and this one required a lot of cooperation and everyone flips out the logic of this community doesn't make sense
-
The Hunter/Warlock/Titan stuff is bullshit imo - if they had just left it as a fireteam effort that would've been absolutely perfect
-
Need hunter & warlock for part 9 Xbox one msg stackemup262
-
DESTINY IS MAKING US WORK TOGETHER!?!?!?! THEY BETTER NERF THAT ****
-
I mean for an exotic 390 op weapon as it is I think it's perfect as the lengthy quest makes it even better.
