I've generally given up on trying to save people from themselves. It's usually a case of 'I wanted it to be one way, and because it isn't, someone or something else has to take some blame'. People don't want to be helped or informed or assisted as a general rule, they want to be given something with a minimum of involvement, so as soon as you leave the room, they can tell someone about what 'they' did. I tried the white knight routine for a while; people aren't looking for advice, they just want to bitch and have someone validate their opinions. It's also the fastest ticket to the friend zone there is, in the relationship sense. Instead, I have to assume a lot of people are dumb. It's the only other answer. Post a decent post on the forums that's more than one line and contains punctuation; sit back and wait for people to complain they have to read it. That's where we are, people are too lazy to take 60 seconds to read something. Meanwhile, I'm on page 1250+ of reading for the week, for fun. When someone says 'I need help with...', it really means 'This is what I want you to do for me while expecting no thanks'. Here's the conclusion: if you're too lazy, ignorant, or oblivious to read information on something, suffer. You bought it with cash, don't complain when the results show up on your doorstep. You can't take advice, even when it's distasteful? Fine. Leave. At least I won't waste my time saying things to you that you're not even listening to. The real kicker is when someone wants your advice. So you sit down and talk to them for an hour, understand the situation, think it through, and provide good, sound advice that solves the problem with the minimum of pain. They say thanks and then proceed to go out the door, running screaming and flailing their arms in the exact opposite direction of the thing they just agreed was the best course of action. And then have the audacity to complain about how badly it turned out for them the next day. Did I give you a solution? yeah... Did you agree that it was the best idea you'd been presented with? ...yeah... Did you actually do it? ...no? Then why in the French fried -blam!- should I care that it's a complete shit show? Save the advice and help for really good friends and family, because it's a waste of your time otherwise. Sadly.

Just gonna point out that my internet battle has raged on for years, no better options where I live. Altho it was mandated apparently for bell and Rogers to provide options for people in areas like mine so we aren't getting as shafted for Internet. Well they still haven't come out here and I'm stuck with a company called mds wireless. Kill yourself rather then ever sign on with them, shittiest excuse for a company this planet has to offer. But the high issue with them is they bill me for an internet speed which is 2 down 2 up..... Yeah garbage I know but if it had those speeds all the time playing destiny wouldn't be an issue. So the upload is always shit, like they upgraded the tower and for 13 days the upload sat at 1 Mbps.... Took 2 years for them to do that, so 13 days passes and shit returns to normal. I call them asking wtf you had piss poor speeds and shit was going down everyday for 2 weeks which was you guys upgrading the tower apparently. Then this. No unfortunately it isn't always the players part of being too lazy to do shit right. But if anyone has a suggestion for something I could do here that would be great. Keep in mind I'm 20 and all my money literally goes to school right now

My artefacts have glitched out. They are all on my warlock but I swapped them on my Titan now it's not saying attune the artefacts. Plus I have 6 artefact's and its showing up as I have 5. How do I fix that

I lost so much faith in humanity today when I saw multiple posts about people not being able to charge their supers only to find out which artifact they had equipped. Not only have these artifacts been talked about for months, but who the hell equips something in a game where every single piece of gear has perks without reading the text that is directly in front of your face as you purchase the item? I'm generally a pretty patient person, but when it comes to stupidity and laziness, I have absolutely no patience. Working in trades since high school has also greatly contributed to that lol.

Although I agree, Destiny is not the issue, the current ignorance that is pervasive throughout most 1st world countries is astounding and terrifying.

Do people actually complain about that artifact not letting their super work? I used that artifact all through the crucible portion of the Thorn bounty.
