The number 9 billion miles stuck out to me when I first read that card. 9 billion miles is past Pluto, exiting our solar system.
They were sending SIVA a lot further away than our planets.
I wouldn't be surprised if destiny 2 isn't even in our system

Yeah, that stuck out for me too. It's at minimum the very edge of our system, so unless there's something out there we don't currently know about, he was sending it extra solar.

It is considered that Voyager 1 left the solar system at 11 billion miles. This is where solar particles dropped off and a change in magnetic fields occurred. An argument broke out over semantics as the magnetic fields did not match what they were expecting.
