still can't buy rise of iron WHAT IS THIS BUNGIE!!?
ok so i have this problem where i go to the xbox store click on rise of iron and it says not available even though it came out nearly a week ago bungie can you help please?

Go directly through XBL Marketplace on your browser. Make sure you're signed in first, obviously.

Yeah I tried doing the in game purchase and going to the store directly and I can't get it and I have a code for the pre order

2 RepliesClicking wrong one, that's probably bundle one. Go into game and select icon in game it'll link you to it. Or use companion app worked for me

Are you in Canada cause I had the same issue and I just found out that ROI does not release on its own until the 30th, the only way to get it before that was to preorder as you got early access or the collectors edition

I had the same problem until I realized the account I was trying to buy on did not have the license for The Taken King attached. Some how when I installed TTK it linked to a secondary account on my system. I was able to play everything because it was sharing. However when I went to buy ROI it would not let me, kept saying unavailable. I had to contact MS tech support to get them to fix the issue. Long story short, call MS and talk to a supervisor. Prove to them you bought TTK by reading off the code from your card, and they should be able to see that you do indeed own it. What they did for me was credit my account $20 so I could purchase TTK license for my primary account, then I was able to buy ROI with no problem. Your mileage may vary, but give that a try. Hope it helps.

1 ReplyDid you purchase The Taken King on the same platform account you're trying to purchase Rise of Iron on? This means you had to actually purchase that expansion using your platform account and you own the license to that content. Being able to play TTK via gamesharing from another account does not work.

This is an ongoing problem with Bungie connecting to the store, if you also check many people are unable to receive purchased silver so Bungie is most likely working on it although this doesn't seem to be a top priority atm for them
