I was interested when Bungie first announced it, but after playing a few matches (for the that pos quest) I can comfortably say it's my most-hated mode in the game. It's basically just one of those modes where you sacrifice your life flinging your body on some orbs to get credit and just dying & dying & dying. In theory it would be a more strategic mode than clash, but in such small spaces with random teams and chaotic pace it just ends up being a luck-of-the-draw deathfest. All that happens is the majority of the teams murder each other, then a straggler from one team waltzes by and scoops up all of the orbs and gets mowed down by the people actually fighting. Rinse and repeat
Edit: So the main source of my distaste for this game type seems to be that I care too much about my stats lol. I guess if I didn't mind dying a million times I would have a lot more fun
-
meh. it plays like every pvp mode, shotguns only. wouldnt mind if people would actually try some primaries.
-
Its destiny kill confirmed
-
I think it's fun, the matches seen to be little too long though.
-
I'll play it. With friends. But not on my own. And if I do, it has to be a really good reason. I found Rift to actually be the most fun Crucible game mode introduced with a dlc. Supremacy? Eh..
-
anything that punishes snipers and forces a push, i can smile at..... I've only been playing supremacy :D

Edited by acousticsoul22: 9/28/2016 12:07:34 AMI like it a lot, I just have one problem with it. About 50% of the time, whether I am picking up or denying a crest, I will run over it, but I won't pick it up, making me have to turn around.
-
I've only had a few games but they've all been fun. Mix of weapons, obviously a few shotties but I'm seeing plenty more sidearms and fusions which is nice. Haven't tried rumble only 6v6 but I'm guessing that's just a -blam!-load of only use my shotgun only ever warriors.

Disagree from start to finish. Why do people always insist that "Sixes are chaotic". THEY AREN'T CHAOTIC. Play simply moves fast, and you have to RESPOND to the action, rather than sitting back and DICTATING play like you can in 3v3 and Rumble matches. ...and there's nothing luck of the draw about Supremacy. The game mode is a test of your command of the game's movement abilities (can you close to close range without detection, or getting killed, while preventing your oppoenents from doing the same to you).....and its a test of your game sense. If you just run around blindly....you're going to get wrecked. If you try to camp the edges of the map...you're going to get wrecked. 1. Don't leave your wingman. If he goes down, you can pick up his crest. If you go down he can pick up yours. 2. If you're going to Lone Wolf it, stay out of the center of the map. You will get wrecked by opponents operating in a pack. Instead circle the edges of the map and pick off campers, and wait until you see where the "hot spots" are (crests are dropping)....then circle around.....swoop in like a hawk diving on a rabbit.....then back out to the edge of the map. 3. Never chase after someone around a blind corner. Odds are he's baiting you. 4. If you do have to go around a blind corner, never do it at head-height. Get up in the air, and take advantage of the slight delay that players have in trying to look up. It will give you the advantage in 1v1 shotgun battles. Bottomline, the game is fun....and has its own strategies and "rules". But you have to EMBRACE them to play this game mode well. If you want a test of precision shooting....then go play Clash or Elimination. This game mode is an examination of a different set of skills.

It's fun. Definitely a shit show though. Everyone piles up in one tiny spot on the map and throws Grenades at each other. It's hilarious.
-
Its cancer. It just breeds the worst play styles in people
-
Hahahaha better learn to love it because guess what the next iron banner will probably be......

I'm "meh" right now on Supremacy. I was actually enjoying it all week until quite literally my last 4 games; I left 3 of them. All 4 games had a different party of 6 on the opposite team and crushed us. Mercy didn't activate either. I'm all about having fun and not leaving, but this wasn't fun. At all. As a solo player, Rumble Supremacy is just fine. At least then I don't have to worry about my team thinking it's basic Clash rather than an objective based mode. 😑
-
I just wish the pickup radius on crests was a bit larger. Otherwise yeah, fun game mode.
-
Love it. Especially since it took rifts place. Good game mode and forced out the worst one. Me likey

Edited by Weekend Zombi: 9/28/2016 9:41:53 PMEasily one of the worst gametypes. Every match has the enemy team camping in one room so capturing crests is near impossible, half of any team i get refuses to capture crests and just runs by them and the spawns are easily the worst of any gametype with me constantly spawning next to multiple enemies.

Rumbles pretty good. All the players try to rush for the tags whether they die from it or not. Quite easy to watch a tag and kill the guy trying to get it. Double your tags.
-
I think I like it because it's new. Not a bad playlist though at all
-
Its an interesting and new take. Solo play is more punished because you need to pick up those engrams, and youre rewarded for teamwork, more than things like clash or skirmish. I like it enough that yeah i would rather have more game modes

I enjoy it when people actually vary their set up. The amount of laggy, blink shotgunning, bum rushers is unreal. Especially the playlist map choices being quite confined, it's difficult to counter these type of players. FYI because shotgunners used Trials as an excuse to nerf 1000 yard archetype snipers, I'm going to use Supremacy to get high impact shotguns nerfed into the ground.

Edited by irvingjohn1985: 9/28/2016 1:52:48 AMEasily my favorite mode. Fast paced! No(ok, significantly less) snipers. If you camp, you're guaranteed to lose instead of guaranteed to win.
-
I like it!
-
It's a great mode, besides the delay in picking up the crest and when your teammates keep taking every kill you get
-
Not on the new maps, especially last exit, the shotgun spam is so real.
-
KD nerds hate this game mode. If you play supremacy too cautiously, you will lose. If you don't use randoms as meat shields, you will lose.
