Now don't get me wrong, the internet can be a very powerful tool. But you have these people on social media that think they're some kind of internet arbiters and say stupid shit like how they will "wage war on trolls." Seriously, this is Twitter, not the 11th century Middle East. What's dumber is how these stupid conflicts leak out into real life. From people losing their jobs to presidential candidates considering a meme as a white supremacist symbol. I doubt that the people that engage in these "meme wars" go outside often. Next thing you know, people will be getting 10-15 years in jail because they disagreed with someone else on Twitter.
