For those who havent reached 365, here is how to do it within an hour
Go to the will of crota strike(no need to go through the strikes just click the one on earth at level 42). Kill omnigul at the first encounter, collect your blues,( equipt them dont infuse!!!!), then whipe and repeat. After you hit 365 you can then infuse all your gear. I did this with 2 warlocks and a titan so dont let someone say that you need a tether. I hope this helps guys!!!!!!!

29 RepliesI would've done this strat except: one, you need a coordinated team. And 2, grinding like this is dull. The levelling economy seems messed up though so I'm not surprised everyone's looking for an exploit. Almost every strike I've done I'll get one blue item at precisely 1 light more than my current. I'm 353 now so assuming I get drops for all slots in sequence, that means I'll have to do 70 strikes minimum to get to 360 I.e. Raid and nightfall ready. Archons forge is poor; I did a 370 light perfected vandal event and got nothing, plus loads of others. And again, assuming anything drops, it's only 1 light more than I have.

7 RepliesEvery single blue I get drops at 340 though. I'm at 350 and haven't seen any above 340.

Because, who has time to grind when you're a diverse gamer and has a full-time job/family. If this was the only game I played, sure, I'd take my time with it, but that's like not running old Draco in Warframe to level up your gear. I'll be maxed before FF XV. Efficient, and not cheating. Just using the game to benefit your time.

1 ReplyOr you could just farm heroics/archon forge. Does the same thing, plus you actually have a chance at an exotic drop or a horde chest each strike. Farming Omnigul is boring af.

You could just get a good team together and farm heroic strikes. I'm almost there and I've gotten tons of new weapons and skeleton keys and exotics. Way better than relentlessly killing omnigul and having to listen to that god awful scream

7 RepliesSpent 4 hours at it from 350 and only got to 358, but its the only way you can make any progress to actually get to play the end game activities. LFG groups are asking for 370+ for raid and nightfall. Seems like more poor design choices by Bungo

They could put all the raid gear in her loot table and I still wouldn't play that strike. Had more than I can take of it back when it was the nightfall every other week.

9 RepliesYeah, its the most unfun way of doing this. But most Siva crisis strikes only drop 345 gear. For the odd time I actually got a good drop, It was the same as my current light level and 2-5 LL below the current armour piece or weapon I currently had on at the time. I have run about 15 strikes now with all the same results. Archons Forge is just .... no. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS RIGHT NOW. Ive had 3 gear drops that follow the same pattern as above. The only way I've got higher is to grind Omnigul. I've spent 4 hours over 3 days on this and I'm so bored. RoI is overall just boring. The only content I haven't played over the 4 days across all my characters and I've got to 359. I can't even do the nightfall yet or the raid, and I'm so bored with the content already due to retard design decisions. One Twitch streamer I follow, MissVaultops, has just deleted Destiny altogether. Honestly I really don't think I'll play this until it gets better. I might just do Iron banner this time round to get IB Rank 5 out of the way and then grind most of the record book, but apart from that its just went backwards about 2 years from the April Update.

3 RepliesI am a titan and have done the cheese a few times. The problem is I keep getting dropped into fireteams at the checkpoint who won't let me cheese with them. Immediatly get messages to leave so I have just been doing heroic strikes and it works just fine. Except when I drop in and they do the invite to fireteam so they can kick me. Then I just take their checkpoint and finish omnigul the hard way. If you ask nice ill,leave....but if your a duush about it im gonna make it hurt
