Potential Raid Spoilers! - So why are we not discussing the hidden monitors in the raid?
[b]EDIT: The 5th Monitor Puzzle has been solved thanks to this insane community and Math Class. I got Outbreak Prime a few minutes after them and I'm telling you all, watch Datto's video once it comes out. Or better yet, try to solve the puzzle yourself! It's a ton of fun! GGs Guardians! The Spinfoil Hats can finally be taken off until later![/b]
So for those that don't know, there are hidden monitors throughout the Wrath of the Machine Raid.
It appears they unlock a series of laser grids in the final boss room. There's a small platform that you can jump on in the final boss room after finishing the raid that shows a hallway with 5 laser grids and a chest at the end. People have found a way to cheese through the laser grids, however it seems the chest can not be opened until all 5 monitors have been activated. The contents of said chest still seem to be unknown as it seems the 5th monitor is undiscovered. None of the linked videos are mine.
[b]1st Monitor Location: [/b]
The first monitor can be found in the room where you defeat Vosik. In the middle room on the left side, you can jump up through the fan in the ceiling. Continue along the pipe to a monitor at the end.

[b]2nd Monitor Location: [/b]
The second can be found in the jumping puzzle following Vosik. While staying high and sticking to the right side of the puzzle, you can find a walkway that leads to a room with large containers. This path also leads near one of the hidden exotic chests. Once in this room, a series of jumps must be made to get as high as possible where a hidden corridor is located on a pipe. At the end of this is a small room with the monitor.

[b]3rd Monitor Location: [/b]
The third monitor is located at the end of the Death Zamboni section. Be sure to jump off the back of the vehicle and let it fall off. Move toward the right side of the bridge while standing at the end, and then look back on the side of the bridge. You'll see a small broken panel that can be shot off. Move down to the now open entrance and you'll find a monitor.

[b]4th Monitor Location: [/b]
This monitor is found at the beginning of the laser grid hallway. After defeating the final boss, there will be a platform off the edge of the map to the left of the starting spawn. Jump onto this platform and follow the path to the monitor and the hallway.

I just wanted to make this post since I can't seem to find an actual conversation on these anywhere. I'm sincerely hoping that we can find the 5th monitor in the normal mode raid and that it's not a hard mode exclusive.
Let's find out what's in this chest!
EDIT: Yes. We are aware there are 2 monitors in the server farm. As of right now, neither monitor can be activated. Didn't put them in the original post because they're too obvious.
[b]HUGE EDIT: THE 5TH MONITOR HAS BEEN FOUND![/b] It's inside the giant diamond just after the server farm! My group also just confirmed this location. We could all see it! Now we all have to figure out how to open this damn diamond!

There are also 5 monitors on the second roi mission next to the computer your ghost scans.

I think it's after the first boss encounter or after the first freebie chest. When you get the last monitor after killing aksis the monitor you unlock once you jump down to the room opens the first grid, so thinking in terms of numerical order. The last monitor unlocks the first laser grid and the first laser grid is the last wall. I say someone check everywhere before the Monitor room fight. Try looking in the first area the huge servitor thing or after the first chest in the jumping puzzle. Has to be it

I reckon you can shoot the bottom of the diamond, that organic SIVA bit, and it'll blow up like those SIVA clusters you see around the place, and you can awkwardly jump in from below. Haven't tried this yet.

Has anyone tried using the exploding shanks to explode in a certain area of the server farm? It might be like the exploding thrall taking out that ogers shield in court of oryx

There might be a way to open it up then during that mission instead of going to the main objective just like Paradox in the Vault of Glass.

1 ReplyThe "last monitor" is in the kings fall raid, which is technically the first monitor(5th monitor opens the first lasers). The 7777 numbers you see everywhere is the amount of seconds you have after activating the monitor in KF to activating the last one.

Couldn't it also be something that's gated behind a hard mode mechanic that isn't out yet? Or even a weekly challenge mode.

So we are deff missing something huge. I say the atlas diamond has the last monitor or it's a hard mode thing, just don't know why they let the room open on normal mode if it was only for hard mode... Any one try staying behind at the siva diamond and rest of team go to the light room and mess around with patterns? Maybe the one that says behind can listen and look for changes to the center diamond cube thing.....

Didn't read all the posts, but did you know that there is a monitor in the Aksis boss room? It's in the back by the lighted platforms off the side of the map. It's a monitor near a hallway with a bunch of lasers. You can activate, but it only takes away a couple lasers. I'm sure you need to activate the other monitors first.

17 RepliesOkay my theory as goes Here's a map of the server room https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/54e4o5/spoiler_for_those_looking_for_a_map_of_the_server/?st=ITK3FS78&sh=03dce555 Notice the 2 monitor locations left and right are equal distance away As soon as you open the room and jump over the first diamond 2 players take off left and right, there's will be a boat load of invis enemies and once you turn the corners there will be 2 exploding shanks, I believe if you get to these monitors at the same time quickly and hit them it will open your diamond room at the end of that room! I tried it but got murdered by the shanks I would advise 2 invis blade dancers to go there respective directions at first diamond then each go up to monitors invis and hit them I would love to get a group together and try this, I would say the timer begins as soon as the next chest opens so the blade dancers need super before anyone jumps from death zambonie Please give feedback on this as it seems they are doing homage to the chest from Crotas end where you had to traverse the hallway with tons of enemies in time for that chest!

What's puzzling me is the floor puzzle just before you jump down to the last room. When you step on a square it lights up and if you step on it in the right spot then you hear a gong ring. We messed around with this and finally gave up after a while. We were trying to match it to the series of squares at the bottom of the drop (the pattern that you can see when you're looking down the hole) but we couldn't get anywhere.
