Some interesting things about crucible maps. (Part 2)
Welcome back. Miss me? Let's get this show on the road.
Part 1: (in case you haven't read it) https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/203377998 Skyline: This appears to be a relatively simple site on Mars. Because of this SIVA crisis and SIVA's link to Clovis Bray, the vanguard wants to know every little detail about Clovis Bray and it's Golden age experiments. Last Exit: This was an exodus site. A collective tried to escape from some "overwhelming force". The computers were stuck in a protocol dubbed "last exit", hence the map's name. Icarus: This one is actually pretty interesting. This is a site that was left alone by the vex. Pretty much every other part of mercury is vex machinery, except for this place. It's a warmind site that takes energy from the sun and turns it into solar light. (confused? I know I am.) The vanguard doesn't let anyone in here except for the warlock surveyors and Shaxx for the crucible. Floating gardens: Yes, this is garden mentioned in the Empyrean Bellicose (titan exotic helmet) description. This was apparently a garden that was held up in the air with golden age technology. Unfortunately it's been overtaken by vex, but worry not, Shaxx has take it over and turned it into a floating arena. And just a little something extra (because it was in the ghost fragment) Apparently warlocks can and have blinked into each other once.
Thank the Traveler we had Ghosts on standby.
Until next time
To lore master post: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/206388637
