I've noticed that enemies burn up when killed by the Firefly explosion instead of dissolving in Arc light. I was always curious why Firefly did Arc damage anyway. It seems that it would be Solar, with the giant fireball and all that. What do you guys think? (Yes I am aware that Firefly still causes crashes for some folk. This is more a discussion about the effect of the perk itself) Edit 1: Added a short video to show it in action. Edit 2: I understand what everyone is saying about Firefly matching element with the gun. Yet they are all talking about secondaries. I am talking about kinetic primaries with Firefly. I wish I still had footage of when Firefly was Arc, and no, not just for Fatebringer. It worked for any gun the had Firefly. Edit 3: So after some further testing, it appears that Tuonela is, for some reason, a special case. Smite of Merain only knocked enemies back. Kumakatok HC4, another Omolon weapon, did the same thing. Only with the Tuonela did enemies actually burst into flame when killed by Firefly. Strange thing, but this must have been the weapon I was getting the Arc light dissolve from before the update changed it.
