Ok, Shadow price and Grim Citizen III are a part of the Meta
I haven't noticed anybody say it yet but this archetype of auto rifle is tough man, it kicks a lot of butt and doesn't get the recognition it deserves, I mean it's situational in its uses, but I've beaten kids in one v ones with my modified shadow price that has counter balance, high caliber rounds, and focused fire(classic baby suros), and it's crazy because when some kids try to one v one they feel confident since auto rifles aren't recognized for accuracy and consistency at mid range, but this one roll that I'm using, heck I've put shame to kids who tried sniping with doctrine and even hawksaw, grasp of Malok kicks my butt still when I use this gun(it's no longer a close range auto rifle keep that in mind), but it deserves more credit, it feels so good honestly, it makes me feel like I'm using a baby lmg, and it's awesome, and high caliber rounds deserve more credit too man they made the multi tool OG, high cal rounds make most guns OG yo give them a shot

10 RepliesOP tries telling people Shadow Price and Grim Citizen are meta weapons. People rebuff this by pointing out their TTK is awful next to Grasp, TLW, Mida et al. OP responds "OMG IM JUST TRYING TO HAVE FUN, Y U NOT LET ME HAVE FUN?!" OP. Nobody is telling you that you cant have fun. In fact everyone has said if those guns work for you then good, use what you feel comfortable with and kudos for not following the crowd. The simple fact is, those guns are comprehensively outclassed by others, ergo they arent meta weapons. No need to get your panties in a twist.

They have one of the longest TTKs of all primaries and have nothing that gives the any edge over their long time to kill. You need to land a lot of shots to the head coupled with delivering little flinch.

10 RepliesEdited by Forever277: 9/10/2016 5:39:22 PMI had a suspicion and i was correct 0.7 0.8 0.9 yup...everyone that sings the praises of this archetype of ar is always sub 1 kd the main reason you're doing ok with that weapon [spoiler]that actually has one of [u][b]THE Worst[/b][/u] perks in the game for an AR, Focused Fire. A perk that dramatically lowers the damage per second[/spoiler] is because SBMM is placing you against garbage players with no thumbs that archetype of ar is trash, the ttk on yours has one of the highest ttk's in the game I never ever see that archetype of ar in my games, maybe one match out of 100s is someone using one of them and they are always on the bottom of the points board with the lowest kd. I'm glad you're having success with it and like it and are having fun with it but low rof autos are most certainly not the Most Effective Tactic Available (meta) and just so you're aware, im not slamming you or calling you trash or insulting you.

I have a Shadow Price with Rangefinder, Perfect Balance, and Counterbalance. Pretty hyped to see how it does. Of course being a Scrub Lord isn't going to help.
