Iron banner bounties have been removed
I purposely saved brown and green bounties for the past 3 IB to turn in.
If you guys were planning on removing them, it would have been nice to know ahead of time so I could get the marks at least.

3 RepliesThat's so weird. Bungie has always rewarded their dedicated players effort and time. Seriously, this is why the replay value for this game has dropped 90% for me. Chasing loot / grinding / planning ahead, always leads to disappointment. It's not always immediate, but they will shit on your effort eventually and not give a -blam!- how you feel about it. It's still better than most shooters and worth playing, but I have no doubt the hours I logged in Y1, will be greater than the last 9 years combined.

I had 3,2,3 gold bounties. One was not yet finished. Also had 3 or four brown ones. So I lost 175 legendary points. It's all just to have us grind longer. No more! Not buying this mini DLC with just one smal region and a stupid strike with no mechanics. Forge has also no mechanics. Only a very good raid could convince me to throw money at the screen. I enjoy playing with people more than playing a very good game like Witcher 3 alone.

2 RepliesEdited by chickengoujohn93: 9/9/2016 4:23:10 PMThey did say a couple of weeks ago that Iron Banner would get sweeping changes, including the removal of Daily XP increases, complete overhaul of bounties, removal of Top Overall Score objectives etc. So with a update such as this, shit gets removed, changed and/or replaced. Could of been a glitch that wasn't anticipated or someone didn't get the memo when collaborating people's work to apply into the patch.

Yeah I'm wondering what the response will be, I had mid tier trials and ib bounties saved for marks only. I'm not touching legendary or exotic engrams for awhile.

Of course they did. Anything to increase the grind. Can't have people taking the easy road when it cuts down on play times for the new DLC or it looks like it wasn't as big of a success on the spreadsheets.

I'm pretty shocked by this. It seems like it must have been an accident. Unfortunately, I don't think it was. I had 7 weekly bounties saved. I still can't believe it as I haven't logged in to see it with my own eyes. As one of those players that feels like Bungie can do no wrong in the long run, my faith is seriously and sadly shaken.

They were specifically asked if unfinished quests would be deleted and said that they shouldn't be. He also said later "I believe so." A specific question about if completed bounties would be deleted was never asked. I'm thinking that even Bungie didn't think this would happen, and they are just as surprised as you guys.

App shows all active quests gone too! Had few quest to complete! Saved gold bounties for the marks. Change marks cap!

I think with a few of the issues arising from this latest Update/Patch some things (as it does happen) got goofed up. The Servers were done much longer than expected too which could have been a result in some of this happening.

Yep they took away 5 gold IB bounties worth 125 marks. I used to have a total of 980 L.marks now I have 855. I'll live and hopefully get more by the time the DLC hits.

Yeah this is a low-blow. I play Iron Banana. Get to rank 5 and then complete the rest of the bounties and save them for next time. Keeps me INTERESTED IN PLAYING.

1 Replythe kicker?? the same bounties from Trials that give massive rep/exp/marks are still here ONLY the Iron Banner ones are gone, all of them, even the incomplete ones :( this was on purpose, omfg, hundreds of marks gone, instantly
