Hello everyone. I am in the process of trading in my dusty ole 360 to buy a slightly less dusty preowned xb1, bc while I was content with my antique console ill be damned if I miss out on rise of iron. And as im digging through my couch the scrounge together the funds, I keep having this burning question in the back of my mind that I cant seem to find a satisfying answer to. I purchased the original destiny in disc form, and subsequently purchased all of the DLCs (dark below, house of wolves, and taken king) digitally to my xbox live account. I keep reading different things about how yes, all of the DLCs if purchased digitally will transfer seamlessly from 360 to xb1 with no additional purchases, or no only the dark below and house of wolves transfer to xb1 for free and I will have to re-purchase the taken king, and something about a january 15th 2015 deadline to upgrade your DLCs to the next console for free which obviously does not apply to me in this situation. So my question is this: Can I or can I not definitively purchase an xbox 1 today, 9/6/2016, and be able to play my account and my characters the same as I would on my 360 without having to repurchase any of the DLCs? I understand that I will need to acquire an upgraded disc version of the game to put into the disc drive in order to run destiny, which isnt a big deal as its only about 10 dollars used. But I really cant afford to repurchase any of the DLCs that ive already paid for once before, especially if I want to be able to afford the rise of iron DLC once its available. College sucks. If its relevant, my roommate has an xbox 1 and I have played my account and my characters on his console a number of times with no issues, and as of last weekend my characters have been imported to xbox 1. Any confirmation you guys can give me on this will greatly put my mind at ease! Thanks!
