Stormcallers are the easiest to shut down but then I use Fusion Rifles to do it. I actively seek them out when someone activates theirs.
Since Day 1 it's Bladedancers I fear due to the erratic movement and the fact I don't use shotguns or TLW makes them much harder to stop.

Your first statement is complete trash. I use pretty much every fusion regularly in fusion and am pretty skilled with them. You're dead before you can even get close to a storm caller to kill them with a fusion. Don't act like you're some great stormcaller hunter
-
Lol I thought the same shit.
-
I wasn't acting like anything. It's how I play the game and what I do when I hear a stormcaller coming. I use the range of the fusions to my advantage as stormcallers tend to go straight for you. Sure I take damage and even trade but it's better than them going on a team wipe spree. The fact they come right for you make them easier to predict and why I find it much harder to take down Sunbreakers and Bladedancers since their movement is more erratic it's harder to judge when to charge and fire the fusion. Im rubbish with shotguns and average with snipers at best and I'm sure there are many things in PvP you can do that I can't but that doesn't mean I think you're talking crap if you say you do them.
-
Your fusions have crap rolls, I would expect more range from a bonified storm caller hunter .

Different tools for different maps. I've got fusions with plenty range and fusions with less range. Stability is more important on fusions than range as it reduces the kick and spread of the burst meaning it'll be tighter at further range anyway. Sure range impacts the travel time of the bolts on a fusion but if the spread is too high you're never going to hit the 4-6 out of the seven bolts to kill depending on your fusion archetype.

Mine on my warlock is incredible

And that's what's great about the game. Personally I don't rate hip fire for fusions and would rather hot-swap or hidden hand but if it works for you that's great. There's plenty of variety in weapons and perks so you can find what you like best. Rangefinder is great for fusions as it is for any weapon though.

Edited by booooones: 9/4/2016 1:44:53 PMYou're not getting it. You are dead before you can even charge and fire a fusion round to kill a storm caller. I'm not usually one to point out KD but yours is .9 Am I supposed to believe that you're terrible against regular guardians yet when you hear a storm trance pop you're some god mode 360 fusion no scope
-
If you're waiting till you see the stormcaller to start charging your fusion you're doing it wrong. You should be pre-charging constantly so it's ready to fire very quickly when you see your target. If you start charging when you see a target you will die as they'll likely kill you before you get your shot off.
-
*facepalm* the distance fired won't kill a stormcaller. With the exception of the hitchhiker and when all bolts connect (rare) even if you weren't precharging and hit me it wouldn't kill them and by then you're fried.
-
Except it can and does kill them using a variety of fusions. Plan C, Vacancy and Hitchiker all do it fairly reliably. Sure sometimes the hit detection is off and it doesn't work or they use ionic blink to avoid it but to flat out say you can't do it is ridiculous.

Sorry you've been dogpiled with vitriol, man. I can see where a properly used Fusion could vaporize a Stormtrancer, though it would be tricky. I've begun to really like Fusion rifles, and respect your skill with them! Cheers, man.
