forgive me for this rant, i am extremely angry, nobody helps with golgoroth.

the last time we had the challenge i had the bad luck to find terrible groups, never made it to golgoroth. ended frustrated and depressed as i needed the challenge for my book. as soon as thie golgoroth challenge was up again, i looked for groups, some made it to golgoroth and others did not. Usually people wanted to do a fresh raid, so even when i had the golgoroth chekpoint (normal mode). people agreed to help me as long as i helped until we reached Oryx. So i joined and did it fresh every single time, wasting sinths and ammo, time and effort and ofc zero rewards as i did it with all my 3 characters up to golgoroth already. Just to have all these groups change their mind as we reached golgoroth " let's dio it as usual, no challenge, i want to finish the raid fast!" so i said "guys, i agreed to help as you promised to help me do the challenge, i am sorry but i dont want to lose my checkpoint " so i left after every group decidedn the challenge rewards in normal mode was not worth their time. So let me ask you, why is people so selfish? it was not about better rewards, it was about helping a couple guys in the fireteam to get a fragment for the book of triumphs. This is the LAST i need to get my book done. i spend the day raiding, skiping meals and ending with a headache as i played most of the day, to end w/ o the help friom selfish people that promised to help. Just because your book is comploeted, just because rewards are not as good as hard mode, why promise to help when you really dont want to do it. So frustrated and upset right now, even when i preordered i am not sure i want to play a game that makes my clinical depression arise for this kind of community... • Crap. If you were on xbox I'd have gladly helped when I got home. I'm sure theres enough ps players on here willing to help. Especially if you have the cp.

  • Try making your own group instead of joining another? Specify that you're doing the challenge I'd help you out but I'm on XB.

The unfortunate thing is a lot of people especially in this game really only care about their needs, and if for example the golgoroth challenge was something that they needed and you happened to have the checkpoint great let's get it done. Now I'm not saying everyone in the community is like that as I had a group who helped each week with each challenge and doing each challenge several different ways that way if I ever did a raid with a group we could try a strategy depending on who was comfortable with what. So when you play with randoms you run the risk of either playing with people that are helpful and then not so helpful I'm sorry if your finding the not so helpful type.
