I've never understood why Bungie put a reset timer on the vendor gear inventory when it never changes. Gear and weapons from vendors/factions should absolutely reset every Tuesday. The weapons/armor don't necessarily need to change, but each week could bring a new perk set to each item making it worthwhile to grind each week. Alternatively, Shaxx needs to sell at least one weapon each week. Relying on RNG solely for the legendary weapons he gives is a pain.
