1 ReplyI haven't, but I might as well now. I thought NMS would keep me out of the Destiny lunacy for more than 2 weeks... -blam!- you, Sean Murray. Even if I had fallen in love with NMS, I'd still end up with RoI just because of my Destiny clan. I feel obligated to stay with this game through its entirety because of the clan, even if it had got to the point where I completely hated this game. Those are my homeboys, ride or die, or whatever...

I will wait, read the reviews and see if people are complaining about the lack of content after a month. Edit - I just read that the Taken spawns aren't being removed. I'm not going to lie, the odds of me purchasing dropped considerably.

From the article i read from some guys who actually played a good chunk of RoI it seems that, as expected, nothing changed. It's the same formula. Which is both good and bad. The game is just terribly addictive. Coupled with the best shooting mechanics i've played it's a tough one to put down even though you know it's just a grindfest. I think i'm on a break from destiny for a while. Going to wait a month or 2 and see what everyone is saying about RoI and if they finally bring back some good old guns/gear and buff a LOT of stuff for pve. I don't think any of those things will happen until destiny 2 which is hopefully a completely brand new game. New talent on some of the dev teams is a must for the sequel. I look fwd to next fall(rumored release date of destiny 2) to see how it plays out. Hope everyone enjoys RoI. I'm sure i'll get it, just not right away. Golfing weather is just about here so ps4 time will be capped

Things that could make me pre-order Rise of Iron: 1. Complete nervous breakdown, and forget that I don't own a compatible system. This could happen, given my usual mental state. 2. Win the lottery. Since I never [i]play [/i]the lottery, this one is unlikely. 3. PS4/XB1 falls off of passing cargo truck and hits me in the head. Truck owners refuse to acknowledge the incident out of fear that I'll call an ambulance-chaser and sue them. Laws of averages make this one unlikely. 4. My ever-faithful PS3 spontaneously combusts, dies of old age, or is stolen by burglar who is on crack and thinks it's a PS4 (since no one would be dumb enough to knowingly steal a PS3. They're like zucchini in August). 5. Bungie executives, tired of my incessant yammering about the whole legacy console thing, find out where I live and throw a nextgen console through my window just to make me shut up. Also unlikely, since simply banning me from these forums would be much more convenient.
