... You don't even have it upgraded. You need a stability perk in the middle to make it viable. Believe me, I know. I leveled up and experimented with variations of GoM with Counterbalance but without middle tree stability perks. The best one I got is the one I currently have equipped on my Hunter: Counterbalance, Braced Frame, Grenadier. It shreds. Look, if you're happy, that's all that really matters, but you're looking at what could charitably be described as a "mediocre" roll.
