I'm not English, but always find it funny how the media hype England, to be one of the favorite's in every major football championship. The tournament starts, they get knocked out in the group stages, or one of the earlier knockout rounds. 😂 They played, according to the english media an inferior Russian side last night, could only manage a draw. England haven't won a world cup since 1968, why do they believe they're better than they really are? Let's be real here, they don't have any world class superstars such as Bale, Neuer, Ronaldo, Iniesta, Ibra, Padolski, Pogba etc. Is the media blowing their squad, chances completely out of proportion, setting the expectations too high for a mediocre team? You've the superior countries in Europe such as Germany, Spain, France, Italy etc, who would be real favorite's in past majors. I'd say you would be more likely to see Wales/Poland win a major nowadays, than England. Are english fans delusional, or do they really have a good team, are underperforming? I would love to hear an english mans perspective? The history books clearly show they're an inferior football country, but they still set unrealistic expectations...
