Right now as it is I don't feel like loot is rare. The only thing rare is having the right perks on a weapon that you grinder for 10 hours and received 30 times with a bad roll. So how about we had extremely hard challenges to complete like let's say "get a chance at a single player exclusive mission with a very rare loot table that's desirable even with "bad perks" after completing 200 strikes." Or how about being rewarded with an emblem for fair play like staying in a obviously lost pvp match and completing it for 100 times. If the game reacts to how players play the game in a more unique and special rewarding way then most of the players will be happy having their play style acknowledged and can show it off.
