I know one of the biggest problems with bringing the Vault of Glass and Crota's End forward is the nature of the primary weapons, so here is an idea. Since the perks on these weapons are so great, why not have either all or some of the weapons made into exotics, and have the raids drop these exotics as the possible rewards? They would only need a little tweaking since they are already so powerful, and Bungie could decide if the elements need to be removed. For example, Praedyth's Timepiece could be given full auto and have secret round swapped out for a more powerful version of the year one secret round. Maybe make it so that a full burst anywhere on the target only spends one bullet, and a partial burst only spends two. I would also like to see an exotic Praetorian Foil. Please comment below if you think this is a good idea, and/or what raid weapon you want to see return as an exotic. Don't forget what you think the exotic perk(s) should be. Edit: It seems people are under the misconception that I am asking if they think Bungie will actually do this, and are derailing the post in that way. My question was, do you think this is a good/cool idea, and if so how would you make a VoG weapon legendary. Please stop arguing as to whether or not it will happen. That's not the point, and any feedback from this post would then be lost on Bungie if they actually read this.
