Cursed Ogres
Do you know that ogres are mutated thrall? There are cursed thrall as well. So why aren't there cursed ogres? My idea: an ogre with a blue head, and explodes into arc energy. It also moves slower when it sees you. Combining 2 things can make a great idea. Like if you like my idea.

1 ReplyBecause a Cursed Thrall is the direct result of a Thrall failing to mutate into an Ogre. Turning into an Ogre is a successful process, hence no Cursed Ogres.

actually a cursed charge? after killing a certain enemy it will drop an arc charge, which you put in a cannon, aim it, and destroy one of his 3 hearts around the room. The hearts are ogres in a tower that shoot at you and are immune except for that cannon. Once they are all dead, his belly opens and you can destroy him with one more arc shot. good?

3 RepliesMake em immune to elemental/ballistic damage and I'd be down. Only way to take em down would be uncharged melee attacks and/or environmental damage (go punch it's face, it'll be a crit I swear!). Or just walking it off a cliff or something xD

Edited by xandergrow: 8/27/2016 5:58:26 PMA giant cursed ogre that grows cursed thrall on its back. The only way to damage it is to shoot the thrall while they are on his back. When you defeat it it does a nuke explosion that can wipe your entire fire team. The only way to survive is to hide behind cover similar to the oculus in warpriest. During the fight there is a constant timer ticking down to when the ogre will explode. If you shoot the ogres head enough you can stagger it and temporarily stop the timer, but while it is down it only spawns normal thrall

5 RepliesProblem is. Youd have a player who would make it explode ending the fight. Maybe if it exploded without dying. Or had cursed thrall growing out of its back and it grabs and tosses them at you. If you sneak behind it you can proc the cursed thrall to damage this blue ogre.

A knight with a solar scythe that can throw trails of fire around, Hive grunts with Harrowed armor and Harrowed weapons, Cabal with a rhino looking helmet that wields a Warhammer, there is so much things they could add into this game. Hopefully they kick this game!e into 12th gear soon, love what it's been, but this game could be so much more.

8 RepliesI'd say have it be a strike boss in a room like Phogaths, the Cursed ogre would be same size, but the overwhelming arc energy in his body would make his ogre blast arc instead of void. Getting too close to him will chain lightening off of him on to you and your close teammates. Hundreds of cursed and regular thrall are running around. Every 1 or 2 mintues the giant ogre will release an EMP that will freeze/ jam your weapons for 5 to 10 seconds. Upon killing the ogre, he explodes. And I'm not talking some regular explosion, this explosion will kill almost everything in the room unless you are on the edge of the map/room and as far away from him as possible (or in a bubble). This would force teams to work together about when and where they kill him, cause otherwise it would force a wipe.

It is a patrol thing. Like the warsat. The Ogre has 60,000 hp, is Called "The Cursed Ogre" and you need to defend a wall keeping out many thrall, and defending a golden age device. You face wizards, knights, and acolyts. After the ogre is dead halfway, it is enraged. You have to kill the ogre and worm cult wizards. After these are dead, you get 5 motes of light and glimmer and vanguard and faction rep. The ogre counts as an ultra, so 3 of coins will work.
