Lately I've been thinking about the next destiny and how far Bungie is willing to go with it. Will they keep Destiny with the same structure it has now - decent narrative with most of the story out of the game but lots of weekly activities - or will they change it up?
I would love to have more of a narrative. That is my top choice. However I do love the grind that destiny has now so it would be interesting to see how they do it.

A massive loot table. I mean 1000 commons, 1000 uncommons, 10000 rares, 10000 legendaries and 100 exotics.

i want a really strong story
-
I want my guardian to say something, not just stand around like a dumbass
-
i need more weekly and daily stuff to do. i need more rpg elements like in diablo 3 the PARAGON LEVELS
-
Invasions.
-
More widescale battles, a la halo. NPC guardians fighting along side you. I want to feel like this is actually a war.
-
Multi person vehicles like an old school warthog
-
I want smooth 60 frames per second now that old consoles are gone! And to be able to customize my character more. Obviously more story armor and gear.
-
Ship battles
-
MOAR LAZERS
-
A better game.

For Bungie to break free of the Activision chains!

I have no idea what I would want changed most in Destiny. One thing I don't want to happen though is having to create a new character. I dont mind having to start over at level one or having to get new gear but I want to at least be able to take my titan over with all of my subclasses already done so I don't have to try to unlock them completely again in time for whatever raid will be released.

Better social options. Like a status bar and icon that reflects my intentions as in I have a yellow exclamation point over my head, my description says I'm looking for people to play trials with. I have a red question mark, I'm offering to help out with raids. I'd also like a vote option to kick players in prematchmade activities like strike Playlists. Got someone afk? Hold a vote, majority wins player is out. hotkeys on the dpad over emotes. Voting for maps in pvp before a game starts instead of playing the same maps over and over. The ability to select a number of items being purchased. Ie, I have 67 strange coins and I'm buying heavy ammo from xur. Instead of pressing and holding 67 times I just scroll to the number I want and long press once.

I want Bungie to think and test before they change anything. That should fix all of the problems we, as players, experienced.

Separate game modes for PVP and PVE where nerfs and buffs do not affect PVE. Guardians should feel like the bad asses they are. QTE OHK kills for situational melees. Hunter gets back stab replaced with a QTE throat slash based on placement behind enemies. Warlock gets mid range space magic kill that causes enemies head to explode. Titan shoulder charge is OHK that looks brutal (enemies explode), can be changed out for knee when jumping. Grimoires that are in game and voiced by the the voice actors. Exploration on par with Mass Effect of not better. Supers that make your characters feel like gods. Transmogrification for when you want the stats and perks of the current gear but prefer the look of a certain set. An actual story with cutscenes and a movie replay if you want to view any cutscenes again. A character that speaks regularly with a back story.
-
A proper story, with cutscenes, conflict, character development, plot twists, and moral choices.
-
Not a change but I want map building and custom match

A style tab menu where you could choose the appearance of your guardian with the different types of armor you've collected (different than what you have equipped). Bigger patrol zones with larger scale fights (similar to skywatch). With Zones that are for endgame players, tougher enemies, maybe different objectives too (Defend the Wall anyone?) with rewards equal to the challenge. More variety of weapons would be nice. Grenade launchers, railguns, flamethrowers, Soundwave type of gun, other unique types. More of the story brought into the game, the grimore cards are really cool imo but, having it on screen and actually seeing even some of it would be awesome. Optional matchmaking for all activities, have an option for solo if that's your thing. Perhaps a custom strike Playlist where you could choose the strike along with modifiers. Would absolutely love me some space battles. Maybe a type of patrol zone out in space somewhere, have it's own set of activities.

Sandbox team to take a page from history, and read it: every military in the history of mankind has sought to IMPROVE its Arsenal, except the Sandbox team! Weapon balancing may be a cute gaming concept, but, in reality, the enemy has no weapon balance. SIVA, itself, clearly demonstrates that successful military campaigns seek to improve lethality. Every enemy in Destiny seeks better weapons and armor, but Guardians get 'balance'. Maybe that's the reason we have only one city left! Bungie and the kids that play in their Sandbox may want to explore that concept if D2 is expected to appear like a military campaign to defeat a galactic invasion! I read about the Iron Lords and their SIVA defeating Arsenal. But, what I really read is this: their Arsenal was not nerfd! Our replicas are! Maybe that's why Saladin could hold a fortress solo, and we need 6 today! I expect no less in D2! In fact I would be shocked if we aren't offering candy to the D2 enemies, with our 'touchy freely' weapon manufacturers so concerned with too much lethality during a war!

Forge with strike and raid editor. With tons of gaps in between releases, something that can stay fresh with unlimited potential can help out Destiny a lot. Forge and custom playlists really had a huge impact on Halo. Some things created by players ended up being Halo staples, so doing this for Destiny would also let players ACTUALLY contribute to the game aside from just with their opinions.
-
New subclasses plz!
-
To end the constant and ridiculous nerfs in every, single "balance" update. Balance can be achieved through buffs and we get to keep the fun.
