This is extremely true. And very poetic and beautiful, I might add. You might want to consider a writing career of some form.
Anyways, I completely agree. Reducing the amount of ammo spawns. Fine, we can adapt. But reducing ammo capacity? Really? That's so stupid.
We are futuristic super soldiers who are practically demi-gods and we are limited by a very small amount of ammo! Really bungie!?
I remember a time when corrective measure was around. My very first time doing VoG in October of 2014. I got the weapon and I didn't even have boots to increase the amount of heavy that I could hold, and yet it still held 300 rounds of ammo. Three -blam!-ing hundred!
The absolute highest I've been able to achieve so far is 150 with thunderlord. I use increased machine gun ammo on my boots and field scout on thunderlord. But for the damage, or lack of damage, heavy, special, and primary weapons do, it's just not enough damage.
You'd think that with reductions to damage would warrant an increase in our spare ammo capacity but I guess not. They just keep nerfing weapons and abilities and reducing their power and damage. Then they nerf ammo capacity too.

Corrective Measure was my child. Never ran out of heavy. Year One was majestic.
-
Corrective Measure holds a lot because it's an extremely high RoF, compared to Jolder's it could only hold ~76. Not trying to nitpick, just a thing to mention.
-
I get that, but high RoF machine guns only hold a fraction of that now. Machine guns that are slow RoF sometimes can't even hit 100 rounds. It's complete bullshit.
-
Low impact weapons depend on quantity. Take y2's diluvian for example. Max went from 411(exotic chest heavy increase, leg armor increase, skip rounds) to ~320, a whole magazine and then some!
-
This is my point. We've lost so much power and on top of that, ammo.
-
Yes. My corrective measure could last the last half of a crucible match. U had to super me.
-
Exactly! That's what I'm -blam!-ing talking about! But now, because of PvP crucibabies, we hold a fraction of that in PvE! Not to mention even less in PvP.

Actually, anyone who's done Kings Fall is, in the eyes of the lore, a god.

Edited by TFL Washington: 8/25/2016 1:10:21 PMThis is my point! We're gods and we can't hold more ammo than a modern day soldier! Really!? Edit: I mean no disrespect for any soldiers of any time period. They have my utmost respect and gratitude.

Any self respecting sniper would carry more than 12 rounds lmao
-
Exactly. I will never understand how this makes any sense or was let into the game. They reduce the damage, effective range, stability, handling and reload speed, and who knows what else on all of our weapons. So you'd think we'd get an increase in spare ammo capacity to help compensate for this sudden lack of power. But nope, let's just watch them reduced that too. On every, single weapon class, except fusion rifles. And they may have reduced fusion rifles as well. I just don't remember.
-
The highest ammo capacity I had in a machine gun it's 206 with heavy ammo perk in chest and machine gun ammo perk in boots with the SGA. And I mean actually.
-
I couldn't agree more, and thank you, it means alot, what you said.
-
No problem sir. It was a very well written speech and I quite enjoyed it. It captures the problem of a lack of ammo very well. And is just damn well written. I wish that I could write like that. So please, keep it up. Keep up the great work.
-
I will, I will do my very best.

That's what I want to hear! Good luck! By the way, hi again. :)
