There are Account Restrictions and Bans in Destiny. Account Restrictions are temporary, while Bans are permanent.

I get all this and figured I wouldn't get a response as to why it happened. But how can I prevent this from happening again if I don't understand what they saw to restrict me in the first place?

Follow the above link for Destiny's Network Troubleshooting Guide. Make sure you have a solid and stable connection to the game. Minimum of 1 Mbps of Upload and Download speeds. If on a wireless connection, try and hardwire your console to your modem. If this isn't possible, make sure you have 95-100% signal strength from your console to your router.

i am on dmz, ports are open still have yellow bar most of the time, but only in destiny
