Just reset cache. It still doesn't show up :/ I also tried uninstalling the app

Hello. Make sure that you leave the current mode you're in. If you leave a group chat or PM open and switch to another mode (like forums), and a new message comes across that group, a notification will flash for a second but then will count as read because the chat is still technically open.
