We as a community have had enough of the plague you call SBMM, it's got to the point where people are assuming matches are rigged, to the point I play with people who are clearly getting an advantage and sometimes giving an advantage to their entire team due to lag (artificial or natural).
You say these people aren't cheaters and allow them free reign to do as they please, okay fair enough but at least place them in their own lobby so they aren't a deterrent to our good connections.
90% of the time when I finish playing Destiny PvP for more than a few games I leave feeling salty, swindled, down right cheated and that's not right, I can understand every once in a while but every other game?
To me the ball's in Bungie's court (your move, as DeeJ put it) we can continue on this road where I slowly lose interest in a clearly broken game mode until I eventually don't play it anymore.
Or....
Bungie can address the constant cheating/lag we experience in the crucible by handing out IP bans for confirmed cheaters and grouping all players with sub-par internet connections (real yellow and real red bars, no green paint) together in matches, leaving us green bars to enjoy a lag free crucible experience (also known as CBMM).
It's such an easy fix a caveman could do it yet Bungie continues to ignore our requests for a real game and instead chooses to please the casuals with SBMM at (people who enjoy PvP, win or lose) our expense.
You wonder why this community is always so salty about PvP, there's your answer.
Bump if you feel the same and want to see a return of the glorious CBMM for Rise of Iron.
Tl;Dr:
Destiny PvP is no longer enjoyable due to the severity of lag (and cheaters), if steps aren't taken to remedy this situation by introducing purely CBMM and perma banning confirmed cheaters your game's PvP player base will continue to shrink until it is nothing more than a joke within the forums.

It's a hard balance because people who are somewhat skilled will stomp others who are not and those that get stomped become nerf crying children.

Agreed but have it as your connection first then skill

Stop talking like youre the voice of the community, you are not voicing my opinion. I have zero problems with the current matchmaking system. Infact I'd go as far as to congratulate bungie on a system that works for everyone. So thanks bungie keep on keeping on, ignore idiots like OP.
