Separate Playlist for Guardians after Going Flawless
What I am suggesting here is that characters who have gone flawless that weekend would be placed in a separate playlist from the normal trials playlist. This would only be per character per weekend. You can still do the bounties and the daily gold tier bounty just on a flawless playlist. This would still allow for competition against normally flawless players in the normal trials playlist but also allow for new guardians to experience the lighthouse by allowing for further competition against other guardians who haven't reached the lighthouse that weekend.
Thoughts? Opinions? Ideas? Suggestions?
Edit1: So I may not have made this clear, but what I am suggesting is that all players will play on the same playlist for trials until that character achieves flawless victory. I am simply stating that once that character goes flawless that weekend and they wish to continue playing that they play in a separate flawless playlist.

5 RepliesThis is just another time where some people get emotional when they lose and try to think of some way to help them win. All this will do is make things worse and more complicated with very little benefit to anyone considering how easily this would be to work around. It's like the people who said take away special ammo at the beginning of the match thought it would change anything. Then people just used ice breaker and invective. It fixed nothing and just made the game worse. Now you lose all your ammo if you switch special wespons, even if you are dead. And people that help others go flawless could just not buy boons, or have a 2nd account, or play on the person's account who is wanting flawless. Etc, etc. Very easy. Everyone that is for this should really evaluate their thinking process and see if they are just going on emotions rather than using some common sense. I imagine they are probably doing this for many things in their life.

2 RepliesThe reason you and others make posts like this is because you have a hard time getting there, I'm guessing, which is understandable. The problem with these suggestions are that it takes away from being "special." As someone who is approaching 140 flawless runs, I agree, everyone should get to see the light house. But! There should be an additional "special" area that is only accessible for people that won 9 or 7 (using passage coins) games without losing. This additional special area within the lighthouse (by the burning globe) has better rewards than the main chest. That way it's still special and exclusive for those that posses the collaboration to get there.

This wouldn't be a bad idea if all 3 characters you were playing against alreadt went flawless that week on those characters. They're not getting rewards anyway so i don't see what the big deal would be.

So say u wanted to help a friend out to go flawless right but u have already gone flawless. will that mean u have to delete your flawless passage and buy boons all over again on another passage.

I don't think there should be separate playlists for a couple reasons. First off, we've already seen how successful SBMM is in Destiny. The amount of lag that would accompany splitting up the population would be detrimental to everyone. How can you have fair matches if you can't have a fair gunfight? Second, I believe that good players should be rewarded for being good at the game. Yes, it can be frustrating getting smacked by a stacked team, but you are in the most competitive PvP playlist in Destiny, that also drops endgame gear. I know sweats are a level above but only 1% of people in Destiny play sweats. So quite honestly, trials is in a good spot where not everyone is entitled to play people their own skill level to go flawless.

There's already SBMM and matchmaking based on the highest win total on any card in the group. If people want to go flawless, they need to try to find a fireteam that can help carry them because let's face it, some people just need to be carried to make it there. There are plenty of groups who wouldn't mind helping an average to below average player experience the lighthouse.

3 RepliesTo those of you that agree with this post: Stop wasting your time reading the comments, and load up a game of crucible. Spend a few hours honing your skills and maybe even getting a god roll weapon. Stop coming to these posts in hopes that Bungie will make what is suppose to be the hardest PvP experience in the game easy for you. In life if you want something then you have to work hard at it. Besides Trials is not the only place to reach 335 light.

14 RepliesIt's supposed to be the hardest challenge in destiny. Stupid to make it easier for those who can't obtain it. A week later those same people will complain about it being too easy. It's supposed to be difficult. You are supposed to prove to the sun gods that you are the best of the best, not the best of the average. Might sound harsh but the only way to obtain this is to "git gud"

I like the idea but fir this to work and nit upset the lil pissy whiners there would have to be to make separate rewards for each bracket. emblems would be proof of flawless in said bracket

Most people doing trials carries don't even buy boons and go flawless anymore so this wouldn't matter.

I love your idea but what would happen if say you have 1 or 2 who have been flawless and there's one who hasn't gone flawless. Would this put them in the flawless catagorey or the non flawless catagorey. This will defo make carries a lot harder if that puts them in the flawless catagorey.
