Funny story in mayhem rumble..
Yea so as the title says, this happened to me yesterday and it was hilarious so I decided to share it.
I got into my titan (I was a sunbreaker) and got to mayhem, got matched with 2 other titans only, I got 2nd place, then I switched to my hunter to level up my gunslinger (and I love throwing knives) Then I got matched with that titan again and some other ppl, then halfway into the match he was going to kill me but I ACCIDENTALLY waved, then he waved back, I was about to kill him but I realized he was waving so I waved, we danced, we sat for a bit, anyone who came near us we crushed him, everytime we saw eachother we didn't even kill, we teamed up against the others, he got 1st place and I got third, he sent me a message after the game saying Gg :D, we need more ppl like this in the game.
EDIT: If anyone is against my post or what I did then report me to bungie, Yea report me for having some little fun which rarely happens!1!1!1

1 ReplyNice story dude. I'm all in favour of anything that makes the game more fun and friendly regardlless of what the activity is! Had a similar experience in clash. Got chased a couple of times by one opposing player (a shotgun slider). Both times manage to counter with a fusion rifle and on the second occasion - gave the player a wave as if to say "nice try buddy - maybe next time". Well on the third occasion - he got me and also waved after the kill. From that point on when ever we killed one another we waved. The other players must have thought we were nuts waving to each other's ghost after every kill - but it was nice change from the usual t-bag practise.

2 RepliesI was trying to finish the Imprecation step of my First Curse quest (this was not long after TTK first released). I figured Rumble would be a good gametype for this, but was having a lot of trouble. I started checking the loadouts of other players in my next game. Oh look, he's using Imprecation too, must be doing the quest like I am. Hey look another one, and another, oh my...everyone's using Imprecation! This was it, the best chance for me to finish this stupid quest, and I did rather quickly. Woohoo! Screw this match I'm leaving! But then I had an idea. I bet everyone else is having trouble too, and I've already done what I came here to do so...I threw on an Oryx mask and a Jackolyte, ran up to the first player I found and danced in front of them allowing them to get a headshot with Imprecation. I repeated this every time I revived. One by one, as each player finished the quest they would follow suit. By the end of the game everyone had finished Imprecation and could be found dancing together. Best PvP experience ever.

I always try to team in 6s it's quite sad that people still Shotgun-Snelee me while I'm waving. Those people must have their thumbs removed.

I went into skirmish and as soon as I landed my two teammates left. Score was 1200 to 110. I just sat in my spawn and danced. They found me and we danced the rest of the game. Until the very end when they used all of their supers on me lol. I thought it was funny though

1 ReplyWhile I'm happy you had fun, if I'm being completely honest I'd probably bag you if I was in that lobby just because I'd assume you were boosting. I play a lot of rumble and I get salty when I find people not playing the match out because they're boosting and therefore making it harder for me to win. [spoiler]but that's just my opinion[/spoiler]

It was like this in trials for me one time, my team was dominating, then it started lagging like crap, both our teams met in the middle of Bannerfall and just sat waiting for it to stop, they eventually joined our party, we eventually did a lot of raids together

3 RepliesI main Defender i PvP and usually come out on Top of the leaderboard. If somebody waves or dances and doesn't shoot me, ill leave them alone 100% guaranteed.

Spent so long dancing, waving, and sitting in the middle of the map and every time I got killed. No one ever offered a hand and danced. Always got shotgunned. I hate it. Now I don't do that anymore.

2 RepliesI once went afk for a few seconds (personal reasons) and i found a little corner and started dancing, when i came back there was 4 guys dancing with me and of course i joined them and told my friend to do so as well

1 ReplyI once came across a guy in trials. I kicked his butt bad. A week later, I came across the same exact guy. Him and his team began to lagswitch just to get back at me, (he was dumb enough to message me that no joke). I still kicked his butt. P.S. The second time we met I was just goofing off with friends and started using a thorn without the burn perk on it. Got 25 kills with it. This is all year 2

You don't deserve to be reported. It was [u]mayhem[/u]. [i]Mayhem![/i] You are [i]supposed [/i]to be goofing off. At least... that's how I see mayhem. I hope people can have a little bit of sense. There are so many bigger things to worry about in our community other than one match of a nonsense game type where two people had a little bit of unplanned, non-malicious fun for a second. Your slightly damaged K/D will recover.
