I'll start off by saying I don't believe in this movement at all, it stems from the victim and self entitled mindset of the 2000s.
I'm all for equality, but I'm for RAW equality, meaning everyone is equal in every way, I don't believe in something for nothing, I don't believe in apologising to someone because they choose to create an issue and then choose to be offended by the problem they created.
The last time African Americans fought for something at this magnitude, it was a movement of purpose, started and continued by well educated and insightful individuals who saw a future without the hatred and racism(REAL racism). This, no matter what these people say, isn't that.
I personally believe this movement has brought the concept full circle, instead of the brutality of whites against blacks, it's now blacks claiming brutality from whites(as well as police, but only the white ones for some reason?) and In return, retaliating to the facade they've created, that the racism of that time has returned(or in their mind never diminished).
Well, they're right, however, it isn't the "racist arian populous", it's them. These people claim they are fighting for the equality of African Americans, when in reality, they are taking this opportunity to bring back the brutal racism they are apparently fighting against while trying to hide under this blanketed idea that THEY are the victims.
Now, this is my opinion and I, as well as all of you im sure, have strong personal reasons for thinking the way I do. Watch this video and if you do feel the need to comment, please try to keep it factual and without blind insults towards what everyone else thinks.
TL;DR Watch and discuss your thoughts without blindly insulting others.(This may not be an easy video to watch)

If I ever see a cop getting shot at while making a traffic stop I promise I will save that cops life by running his attacker over with my car. U can bank on that.

Black people are not African Americans. So sick of hearing this. If you weren't born in Africa, have direct family in Africa, or have citizenship in an African country, there is nothing African about you. A white person who was born in Africa and moved to the US would be an African American. The PC term is society's knee jerk reaction and fear to say black. The term just makes you sound like an idiot. Black=/=African American

Edited by Aarchon_Priest: 8/25/2016 1:23:03 AMWhy are we dropping bombs on kids 1000 miles away when we have terrorists like these in our streets.
-
BLM is a terrorist organization and if I was emperor they'd be occupying the hottest blackest cell at Guantanamo.
-
This is why I'm moving out of America as soon as possible.

Edited by Vithurr: 8/24/2016 2:54:24 PM100 years from now people will still talk about the Civil rights movement of the 1960's as a beautiful thing. This black lives matter "movement", this "organization"? 100 years from now it will be reviled as domestic terrorism.

Raw equality is dangerous. If everyone was equal in every way, people would have to be handicapped so they can't move, think intelligently, etc. Just wanted to point that out.

So much this dude. Respect

Milwaukee? Shit...

I've seen this video before, and it's still as heart breaking, and it still makes my blood curdle at the thought of such self centered murderers who believe they are victims.
-
I would say I'm surprised, but I'm not. People just don't respect others in general, and the ones who do are really the minority. Working in EMS it was easy for me to see how little respect police and EMS personnel get on a daily basis, while helping others in their "time of need". No, I don't expect most folk in BLM have any respect for anyone at all really, and that is truly sad.

I'm not American so I don't know a great deal about what is going on with this "movement" in a serious way. It does get portrayed in a comedic way where i've seen it. It comes across like it started out with an agenda in mind but it was taken over by complete idiots. It's laughed at is what i'm trying to say.

Fortunately, I'm from Europe and there guns aren't permitted...
and there are less mads
BLM is pretty much domestic terrorism. Police killings (even if they didn't do it, they support it) even more division in races. They think the Black Female has the hardest life ever, you ask them why and they call you a racist and a sexist. How do you justify a group that is so idiotic. I don't care if a black person white person mexican asian whatever is in the group they are a dumbass.

How can there be equality when we arent equal?
-
Bump.

What I want to know is when black lives stopped mattering after the 1960's. They hold no lesser place in society, they just lie to themselves about being oppressed in the hood when the only ones holding them back is themselves. Several black men and women have gain highly respected places in society because they actually tried to change their life style.

Cbf with the video but agree with you

Edited by Ghost of Reach: 8/22/2016 9:28:31 PMWow, all the people who's families are now fatherless or motherless. Nothing more I hate than a killer. Specially a cop killer. Sure there's police brutality, but there's a lot of brutality in general. Just seeing those cops get slaughtered, mindless get shot be some criminal makes my blood boil. RIP I'm happy to say that at least the officer who had pulled over that blue truck survived due to his bulletproof vest. Some of the bullets struck his neck and shoulders though, some how he can still talk normally, and is still serving.

Well fuck, I have a policy of not watching videos with real violence in them - killing, brutal attacks, but forced to watch it just to get the full message of the video has enlightened me. While I have never supported BLM, I have always campaigned against Police Brutality, but seeing this, it's damn well understandable why US Police are so trigger 'ready, it looks like a war zone.

bump, follow the law and don't get shot. for those saying blacks are targeted by cops - they are targeted because they are breaking the law. those that are shooting at the cops, they deserve to be shot
