No. With out it you will not be able to pick up targets as easily. Actually, it would be ridiculously difficult to acquire targets. And PvP would be a mess. PvE would be stupid hard.
This is because we use thumb stick controllers. It's easier to play without aim assist on PC

I didn't say remove it. I want it to be like other games in how their aim assist is
