You risk injury, or worse.
It is a tactical gameplay move that should only be performed by trained professionals.
Children should attempt this move only under strict adult supervision.
If you're wondering why it appears the injury was sustained on the wrong hand I can explain. I am left handed and have taken the necessary steps to re-wire my controller so that the analog sticks are reversed.
Posted by: I Schiftie I
Posted by: BeMeOrDieTryin2 two questions, one how many crouches do you get off in one single ghandi hop? two wouldnt playing southpaw have the same effect on the controller?
I've never counted the crouches but I'd be willing to bet 10 or more. As someone who is as much an avid competitive gamer as myself, and as someone who travels to LANS often, I decided that in the long run it was easier to just rewire my controller than to have to change the settings every time I play at every LAN. I've also physically removed the vibrators for the same reason.
i see. thats really smart actually. get on making a Gandhi hop injury proof controller. the try hards will pay millions
Posted by: Verachi Only noobs don't use a glove when they Gandhi hop. That's what you get kid next time wear gloves.
Good post. Usually the calluses on my thumb are enough to prevent injury but I had been playing a lot of doubles and switched to toggle crouch. As you can imagine Gandhi Hopping on toggle crouch is twice as difficult and when you want that Gandhi Hop as much as I do you run the risk of sustaining an injury. [Edited on 04.06.2010 2:53 PM PDT]

I'm a lefty but the right hand control set up comes more natural to me. Dunno if it's because I'm used to playing video games right handed...
