Please for the love of god rework Radiance
Music related, Its what i try to force myself into feeling when I use radiance, though it cuts off quickly.
I am SICK of getting shutdown by EVERY Super. Does anyone at Bungie actually USE this super? Or did they give up and just use TLALOC and that New artifact that gets rid of your super altogether? I use Radiant skin.
[u]I LOVE Support[/u], but it doesn't do the job. My team doesn't push with me and it just makes the opposing team activate their supers and kill my team.
I'd love to use song of flame, but it is useless when no-one on your team knows that you are using it.
It has the hidden abilty "activating radiance forces the other team to use their super on you" I feel like a Defender Titan.
Its [u]great[/u] that i can use a sword with it, its my favorite thing to do, but we all know how that goes most of the time, you have to hide and hope you don't get shotgunned.
I'll admit its hard to balance sunsinger without making it too bad or too good, but your super should [u][b]ALWAYS[/b][/u] be something you can be excited to use.
Make it last longer so that you can play more reserved and supportive.
Make the grenades larger and more powerfull during radiance
Make kills regenerate it or regenerate your health
Not all of those at once obviously, but something. I'm just spitballing. id rather it be more support like in nature but that would require some sort of rework potentially.
I like the idea of the class, what with the sun and warlocks, but i don't feel like a warlock, a striker can use more space magic than i can and hes a titan.
Yes this is a rage induced post, but its my feedback.

1 ReplyI solely use it for the Tlaloc, since I never use the super anymore. I also throw on Fireborn for even more reason to not use the super during a match. I feel the super itself is just wasted if I actually use it.

3 RepliesI just use Radiant Skin with a Max Discipline/Strength with two Fusion Grenades and Claws of Ahamkara. I actually try to essentially be a bullet magnet so if I'm playing Rift or something with an objective the enemies will focus me while my teammates shoot back or go for the objective. Also great for diverting other supers away from important objectives and other friendly supers to clear a path. The Sunbreaker build is also great allowing you to essentially deny entire areas from the enemy. In my opinion it's great for both defense and offense. Being able to control the movement of enemies is a strong tactic and can easily net you kills. Area denial in general is a very useful tactic.

Agreed, i think it's lame that I can use my super and get team shot immediately after using it. It should be stronger than that especially with radiant skin. It definitely needs to be buffed.

It wasn't a problem before because there weren't so many running around. I can't play a single game where i don't run into 3 strikers on both teams.

4 RepliesSunsinger is not meant to be a strong PVP subclass. Voidwalker and Stormcaller should be your go-to choices. It's good for PVE.

You know a really good supportive change would be they could change song of Flame a little bit. Instead of just increasing your teammates charge rate on their grenades and melees it could also give all players that are close to the Sunsinger activation a flame shield and it lasts just as long as a normal warlock Flame shield. Also they could change self rez too to instead of having a shorter duration just allow the player to revive themselves and one teammate that way sunsinger is actually a good support class to play

47 RepliesIt's fine. Radiance is one of the best Supers in the game right now, especially with the recent buff in the July Update. You have to remember, Its a Support Class, not an Aggressive Class. You're not going to do anything but die if you rush in like a Bladedancer.

My humble opinion, Sunsinger is basically built around 2 play styles: PvE: Tlaloc useage, this is basically giving you access to one hell of a weapon as long as you can live. PvP: Arguably the king of elimination/trials. A self Rez can steal rounds, hell sometime I lose my self rez round but if I can get the other team to waste 2 or 3 supers on me I just won my team the game.

I have used sunsinger lately and I have had a great time with my super. That is not using it of course while my tlaloc shreds everyone and I stick a fusion grenade to everything I see. But I agree with you sunsinger seriously needs some buffs and maybe even a whole super rework.
