The new Recruits in Destiny are currently people who haven't had Destiny: The Taken King for more than [b]a week.[/b] This is way too little time even if you are friends with the person beforehand. We need more time for Recruits to be counted as Recruits. It takes 2 to 4 weeks to get to level 20 and get decent weapons for your first character, so based on this I feel that the time a new player is a Recruit [b]should[/b] be about 3 weeks. That way the new player can learn about Forums and veterans can get a new recruit before the time limit is up.
