Explain this to me;
How would wearing a different set of armour reduce the damage I deal with my trusty Last Word or Hawkmoon?

He was proposing that you take less damage vs certain weapon types and take more vs others. No impact to the damage you deal. The idea being zero some could just as easily be purely bonuses granted as well. Essentially it would just mitigate the current game meta in best case scenarios and just shift it in worst case.

How? Is a question left to the devs.. They get paid to know questions like that and act on them... Im not a game dev, so i wouldn't know how they do it... What I'm lobbying is a concept that lets you control what type of damage you want to be more resistant to while reducing your current resistance from another type of damage... They can work the numbers, its the idea they need... I don't think that they would be able implement something this big so late in this game's cycle... I can see them putting some sort of mechanic like this for Destiny 2...
